To the contrary! I think we should do absolutely NOTHING about Iran, just as libs said we should have done NOTHING about Iraq, and this time see what the consequences are. No preemptive measures whatsoever, and no military action. Sanctions only. Diplomacy only. Israel will be the biggest loser, but who cares about the Jews anyway?

Wooo. Another costly war and more tax cuts to not pay for it, Amy? What are you suggesting? We’re already cutting domestic programs across the board.

I wasn’t implying Iran was Iraq or vice versa: they are different in that Saddam Hussein tried to hide his ambitions while Mahmoud Ahmadinejad flaunts his openly.

Saddam “bluffed” in saying he didn’t have WMD. Ahmadinejad openly talks proudly about the uranium he is enriching and its a proven fact. There’s no bluffing going on.

Even the U.N. admits Ahmadinejad has uranium and is enriching it.

Iran would suffer, true. I think that’s the point. I think it would be counterproductive since Ahmadinejad has openly said he doesn’t care about sanctions and won’t abide by them. Saddam bluffed about that.

Iran isn’t Iraq.

Ahmadinejad is bluffing.

Iran would suffer a lot if we Germans and European would sanction them.
