   Maybe you should try to run some really offensive Christian cartoons to see if you can improve party membership? While asking for people to ‘have a sense of humor’, you might tone down your inflammatory rhetoric.

   Well, the “average run of the mill American Muslim” for which you are so concerned should be well-acquinted with free speech, already. It’s part of being American. And they understand that bashing religion has been de rigeur in the media for quite some time — albeit directed only at Christians.

   Secondly, what precisely do you find objectionable in the video? Do tell. Please. The animation casts a wide net; equal opportunity offensiveness.

   If a Muslim (American or otherwise) takes umbrage at the comments and photos showing burning embassies, wielding swords, calls for murder and sweeping violence — all acts that have been committed only by “outraged” Muslims — then these are not “hearts and minds” to be won.

   Muslim-Americans should share the indignation over what’s happening. It’s not very good publicity for the “religion of peace.”

   As for offending Christians, yeah, we got some of that, too.

   Middle Eastern Muslims have been invaded, pillaged, raped and murdered by Europeans for Centuries and after all that we try to convert them to Christianity. How many reasons do we need to give them to hate us? They live in the middle of the desert, raise their families under Islam and try to stay alive. We have used every modern weapon known to man on them while their main defense is strapping explosives around their waist and blowing themselves up in the hope of taking some of us with them. They only have a bunch of Sand, a pyramid or two, a Canal and some Oil… Exit their Lands, Pay them a fair price for their Oil and leave them alone…

   2. Brainlock - the Christians fought the Muslims to *regain* the lands the Muslims had taken in a very bloody way - and as far as converting people - well, the Muslims did as much converting as the Christians did - I’d call that a draw.
   But they are certainly not the innocents you think they are! If they have nothing but sand, oil and a chip on their shoulders it is because they are too intellectually lazy to study anything outside of the Koran.

    Costs = $7.00 per barrel
    Selling Price = $58 per barrel

    If that’s getting screwed I’ll take a dozen.

    The best way to rid ourselves of these pesty beheaders is to find alternative energy sources and buy what oil we do need from a) ourselves, and b) friendly to us countries.

    As Grandpa used to say, “no mon, no fun son.”

    Take away the dough to stir up crap and these guys go back to being carpet traders.
