UN Ceasefire Will Allow Terrorists to Rearm
UN Resolution 1701 is a Pablum-like gruel, being served up in place of more nutritious shredded wheat or grape nuts. In other words, it is some as yet unidentified foodstuff that contains little to no texture or substance. Instead, it is supplied to cease the growing world hunger for appeasing radical Islamist terrorists and offers no more than a temporary stomach-filling substance that supplies doubtful food value.
Although it is being offered up as a “solution” to the conflict begun by terrorist Hezbollah, UN Resolution 1701 provides the same UNIFIL presence that has, already, done nothing to stop Hezbollah in Lebanon’s arms’ build-up over the last 26 years—and most specifically not the last 6 of them. In fact, at least one UNIFIL complex flag flew side-by-side with that of the terrorist Hezbollah flag. With that in mind, can the United Nations really provide an unbiased solution to the current Hezbollah-Israeli war—when at least one UN division announced its “solidarity” with the terrorist organization? Of course not.
Both the UN’s secretary general and his second in command have made patently anti-Israel comments. But, they have said nothing degrading against the identified terrorist organization Hezbollah—the entity responsible for the conflict. UN Sec. Gen. Kofi Annan said that Israel’s actions (in defending itself) were “murder” and his deputy Mark Malloch Brown said that, in his opinion, Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization. These statements were made by the top UN brass, despite the fact that Hezbollah was the primary player in the 1979-1981 Iranian hostage crisis, the 1983 bombing of the US Embassy in Lebanon, the 1983 bombing of US Marine barracks in Beirut, the 1983 bombing of the US Embassy in Kuwait, the 1984 kidnapping of CIA Station Chief William Buckley, the hijackings of Kuwait Airways Flight 221 and TWA Flight 847 and on and on—and on. But, Brown doesn’t consider Hezbollah to be a terrorist organization? One has to wonder what more terrorist activities it would take to be considered “terrorist” by the United Nations. On the flip side, this “august” body already has named Israel as one—for protecting its own sovereign country.
One thing remains certain, for those who still have the ability to see, hear and recognize reality. This UN sponsored “ceasefire” will work to the advantage of Hezbollah. It will allow it to be restocked by weapons and advisors from both Iran and Syria. And what of the ceasefire’s impact on Israel? It will only allow it to watch the buildup of its enemy and wait to be attacked—again.

So, with all the bridges bombed and Israeli jets flying overhead, the airport bombed out, and a naval blockade in effect, exactly how is Hezbollah supposed to get missles from Iran? Exactly how are they supposed to ‘re-arm’ in any significant way?
Just wonderin’…..

Are we already in re-writing history mode here? Does it only take three (3) days to choose to forget that one of the significant and pivotal authors of this cease-fire resolution was Condi Rice who was assigned the task from none other than President of the United States of America, George W. Bush himself? Gee, lets re-write history for the minority of Right-wing blogs as if they will be archived for the future generations to survive off of. Thank God history is written by intellectuals and NOT blogs.
