President Bill Clinton in a speech to the nation in December 1998. In fact, up until 2003, after the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Democrats were endorsing the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and showing concern over his WMD program. Here are more liberal flip flops:

Democrats are far enough from a sensitive post 9/11 America that they have reverted to demagoguery and politicing. This overt change of rhetoric reveals their obsession with power at any cost: the end justifies the means.
