One way to skew the polls is to phrase the questions in a way to get the response(s) you want, and the pollsters are great at that. Ms. Cheney drills that home by inference. And Simon, I love your phrase "win and leave". It should drive the SP/moonbat/ivory tower crowd crazy. Win and leave. It's as simple as that. That’s the first logical response to the polls I’ve seen. How does a garrison help this. Sure if the Iraqis agree. But I doubt they would most countries wouldn't in that kind of circumstance.
