Clinton and Reid are coming dangerously close to owning the Border Fence proposal. Building the fence would have great popular support, as long as the bill has no new laws concerning illegals. Besides, it would have been *legal* to deport all those illegals caught in that recept sweep, but INS just released most of them to the community. I have to believe 90% of the rhetoric in Congress is to cause nothing to happen. It only takes 1 hour of work by Bush, Frist, McCain & Hastert to totally get this fence started.
