Thought not. As for peace in the middle east. It seems unlikely but I thought the same about Northern Ireland and now look. So you never know. But Northern Ireland had a lot to do with education. The British invested in a strong education sector. People in poor areas got the chance to go to university and make a decent life for themselves. So they no longer felt the need to fight as they could see another way of surviving. But that happening in the middle east is doubtful. Even though the country most likely to do that was lebannon.
