Palestinian Children Clash with an Israeli Soldier in an Iranian Animated Movie

See the shocking video.

Following is a description of an Iranian animated movie, which was broadcast on IRIB 1 TV on October 28, 2005.

An Israeli soldier approaches a crowd of young Arab protesters on the street. The protesters are burning an Israeli flag, holding stones in their hands, yelling, and raising a sign that reads “Death to Israel”. The protesters throw stones at the soldier, and he in return fires his weapon, killing most of the protesters. A protester who has remained alive cries at the sight of his dead comrades. He picks up a slingshot and a stone and aims at the soldier. As the stone is released into the air, it turns into a hand grenade, and explodes at the soldier’s feet. The soldier has now become a skeleton wearing shredded army clothes. Behind him stands an old man, wearing a hat with the American flag printed on it.

I watched these toones last week and blogged about them as well. It’s subhuman to show the suicide bomber one to kids. The other 2 are bad, but not as bad as the suicide bomber one.

  2. Ali Says:

I have no time for any religion or religious leader or religious state, this includes those who rule in Tehran, Israel, Vatican or Texas. However, for decades Israeli death squads (soldiers as you would call them) have created havoc in the region, committed the worst atrocities only paralleled by Hitler and his cohorts and you did not raise a finger, now with one cartoon you have got your underpants in a twist. No wonder you are in deep shit up to your teeth in the Middle East, hopefully soon you will swallow enough of it to choke you.

    Yours truly,

  3. California Conservative Says:

Certainly sounds like you’ve picked sides, Ali.

    So have we.

Yeah, Ali, all those purple fingered hands are a sure sign of the shit we’re in. Heck, if we keep it up, we could wind up over our heads in Iraqi Freedoms, and that would just be a darned shame.

Zarqawi, in the meantime, is surrounded by Jordanians calling for his head… He’s doing Just Peachy Keen.

I suggest you get your head out of the MSMs and actually try gaining a real picture of the situation there.

You won’t, but that’s my suggestion, nonetheless.

  7. Jay Says:

I don’t support anything that promotes violence, whether it’s Iranian cartoons or FOX News. But you so-called conservatives need to stop the propaganda and get straight with the people. Here’s some “shocking” information.

    1. An article from Haaretz (an Israeli newspaper - so you don’t think I’m being one-sided)

If that link does not work for you, you can also read it here
    An excerpt from the article:

“Here are the disastrous proportions, in the hope that someone in Israel will take notice: 80 percent of the Palestinians killed were not connected to armed actions.
Like the Israelis, who experience the horror of bus bombings, the Palestinians too are all exposed to the terror of missiles and bombs exploding in the heart of the civilian population centers.”

    2. Israelis killed or injured by Palestinian violence from 9/29/2000 to 11/1/2005:
“Between September 29, 2000 and November 1, 2005, Magen David Adom treated a total of 7,555 casualties as follows:
976 killed, 621 severely injured, 902 moderately and 5,056 lightly injured, among them 11 MDA staff members.”
Info from Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs

    3. Palestinians killed or injured by Israeli violence from 9/30/2000 to 11/24/2005:
    Total deaths:3,744
    Total injuries: 29,263
    Source: Palestine Red Crescent Society

I would also like to respond to “OhBloodyHell”
“Purple Fingered Hands?” Are you kidding me man? How about Red, white and blue draped coffins? Or maybe you just don’t care about the poor, young American kids who have died or given up limbs and their future for oil profit? What is wrong with you?
“Purple Fingered Hands?” Do you not see what is going on in Iraq? What do you know about that country, its people, its history, etc?

You complain about anti-Israeli propaganda on Iranian TV. I’m there with you on that. Kids don’t need that. But have you people lloked at the shelves in out toy stores to see what “games” our children are playing?
Here are a few. Look them up:
    ArmyOps
Call of Duty I & II
    Battlefield I & II
    Desert Storm I & II

Just to mention a few popular ones. What do you think happens in these games? How different are they from the Iranian cartoons?
In short, if you are going to condemn violence - condemn it all and cut the crap.

    Thanks for your time.
    Peace.

  8. JODiO (James Dirden) Says:

Short’n’sweet, at 80, I’m amazed at how much the rancorous inanities of the left today resemble the verbage output by the reds and the pinks, and their cohorts in Hollywood, from 1938, after I had developed a basic level of political maturity and had obtained and studied the then current FBI White Book on Communist Organizations and Activities in the U.S., and continuing up until well after the end of the McCarthy hearings in 1954. Incidentally, to present a partial defense for the much maligned Senator McCarthy, even from what is printed in the Time Almanac for 2004 it is apparent that Senator McCarthy, although overly zealous, did level a string of “verifiable” charges against Communist sympathizers in our government, in the MSM and in certain “enlightened” and related classes of American society. For although in the almanac it states that “many of the charges of communist involvement McCarthy leveled” were bogus, it does not, can not, historically, state that “most” of the charges were bogus.

To return to my original thought, the unenlightened leftist rabble (and this includes, I’m sorry to say, certain raucously declaiming senior Democrat party hypocrites) who are blindly engaged in attacking President Bush, do not hesitate to use language that this veteran of three wars considers little better than traitorous, because by the Lord, we are at WAR! And not only does such language border on the traitorous in wartime, it can also have one hell of a negative effect on the morale of our men and women, volunteers all, who are presently engaged in defeating the enemies of our nation.

By the by, before some de-brained, stuck on stupid bonehead begins slobberingly and profanely questioning my right to drop in my two cents, I earned the Combat Infantry Badge as a rifleman/scout in Europe during WWII and the Combat Medical Badge as an Infantry platoon medical aidman in Korea. And just to close out the record, I also took a turn in Vietnam, as the operations sergeant for a medical group, before I retired in 1973.

    JODiO

  9. Bujutsu Blogger Says:

JODiO, you didn’t earn the right to drop your two cents by serving. Everyone has that right. What you did earn, what you should have earned from those who do not give it to you, is the eternal gratitude and respect of all those who call themselves American.

    Thank you for your service.

  10. Jay Says:

    Jodio

No one should question your right to drop your two cents. Anyone who questions your right to free speech does not belong in a free society. However, I’m puzzled by your logic. While you condemn those who would question your right to free speech, you hold any criticism of George Bush to be “traitorous.” Now, that does not make much sense, does it? You either believe in free speech or you don’t. If you only believe in free speech for yourself and hold everyone else to be a “communist,” “red,” “pink,” or a “traitor,” then you are not much different from the Stalinists whom you seem to loathe.

    Thank you. Best wishes.

  11. JODiO (James Dirden) Says:

Bujutsu Blogger, I can’t fully express how much I appreciate what you wrote. For I feel that your response to my rambling, somewhat disjointed remarks evidences an appreciation not merely of my humble, not overly heroic escapades, but of the gallant service rendered, and being rendered today, by so many others, men and women alike, whom I have known and of whom I have only heard or read.

Thanks again, and by the by, I studied Ta Kwan Do in Denver, while at Fitzsimmons General Hospital. And this forty-one year old (then), flabby desk-jockey damned nearly lost his cojones (hope that’s spelled right) in a match with a seventeen year old high school student.

Till later then. I’ve got your blog site, and I’ll drop you a line when the spirit moves me . . . and my work load lightens up a bit.

    JODiO

  12. JODiO (James Dirden) Says:

    Jay,

I haven’t forgotten you, and I will come back to you, but not today. I’ve got a job to get out, and in our business there’s always an absolute deadline. Regards.

  13. JODiO (James Dirden) Says:

Jay, first off, before we begin,I must apologize to the California Conservative, for we seem to have wandered far off the trail established for us here, and it’s all my not very logic driven fault. Thus, before I meander on to prepare a reply for you, a statement for our host.

The cartoon examples presented here, which apparently are used by the present Iranian leaders to indocrinate tiny tots in the “explosive-belt” mentality of the Islamofascists, remind this old sod (whose mother instilled in him love of country and democracy while teaching him to read using “Gasoline Alley”, “Felix The Kat”, “Bringing Up Father” and other, forgotten today, “decadent” ’20s and ’30s depression era comics) of the indocrination methods and programs employed by the governments of Hitler and Stalin, et al, and other proponents both of Nazism and Communism; methods and programs still employed, to my understanding, by that great freedom-loving, leather-lunged dictator, the darling of certain Democrat party leaders and Hollywood liberals, socialists who have never read “The God That Failed” and assorted far-left die hards, Fidel-of-the-beard Castro and his government. And that, Gott hilfen uns, as the “Captain” of “The Captain and The Kids” might well have remarked, are apparently favored by certain members of the misnamed ACLU (established in the latter part of the ’20s primarily for, again according to my understanding, the defense in court of home-grown American communists and anarchists and others of like ilk) and its adherents and taggers-on.

Somehow, I feel sure that my mother’s approach to education was far superior to that favored by the Islamofascist Imams and the ACLU and such, for I, agnostic though I am today, have never lost my love of my country, my patriotism, my hope that there be a higher being, whether that being be named God, Allah or whatever, nor have I come to believe that those whose beliefs I shall ever resist should be silenced, so long as they refrain from the use of vile, vicious, base, dishonist language such as has assailed my ears since 2000.

To now continue, Jay, you attacked me, politely, to be sure, but you did attack me, and stated more or less baldly that I was little better than an apparatchik operating out of the Kremlin (pardon me if I sound more than a little bitter, but I just took some time out to listen to the MSM and other uninformed pimps remark on the President’s speech today) during the darkest days of the Communist overlordship. And you didn’t simply imply I would apply the procedures of the Nazis and the Communists and seek to silence those with whom I did not agree, you were quite secific and plainly accused me of being dictatorial in my attitude. Bushwa! Our Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, and I willingly supported our Constitution in three wars, twice on the ground with the Infantry and once as a rear echelon operations sergeant assisting in the coordination of the evacuation of wounded, and I’d be greatly honored to to be able to do so again, were I young enough. And if you can’t understand that a person would volunteer to put his life on the line for ideals such as those on which our nation is founded, it is absolutely useless for me to try to convince you otherwise.

Goodnight from Japan. And may you live always in interesting times.

James Dirden: My hat’s off to you. You don’t get to be a CSM just on a winning smile and shiny boots. I doubt it was true back in WW II, either. I’d rather hear from somebody who’s actually put his life on the line, over there (wherever “over there” is these days) - like a former CSM, than any rag-tag bunch of liberals - like John Murtha, for one. He may have been a Marine once - and most times, once a Marine, always a Marine - but Murtha gave up any connection to the Globe, Anchor and Eagle.

I hope to see you post here (or there) again. Sometimes it seems like a losing battle - but once in a great while, somebody gets some small glimmer of truth.

For Jay, who can’t seem to be able to tell the difference between cartoon violence - even the exaggerated cartoon violence in thnings like “Call of Duty I & II”, which are not only not spoon-fed to our kids, but draw a lot of criticism from parents’ groups and such - and propaganda violence and the hatred that’s shown on Iranian TV, during kid’s hour - 8 am:

While we are taking on the topic of California Conservative » Blog Archive » Children’s Cartoons from Iran: Teaching Terrorism and Breeding Hatred, Infants have sensitive skin, as you realize. The baby nursery rugs you select are things that could possibly cause a massive pores and skin irritation or rash. Some kids break out in hives on certain types of rugs, because the fibers can irritate as well as poke in to the skin. This is rare, but it can occur to children with extremely sensitive skin.
