The ‘City of Tolerance’ Hates Christian “Fascists”

It seems that San Francisco, the city that touts itself as the ‘City of Tolerance’, hates Christians. They’re tolerant alright. Tolerant of everyone they agree with. Here’s a sign of that ‘tolerance’:

More than 25,000 evangelical Christian youth landed Friday in San Francisco for a two-day rally at AT&T Park against “the virtue terrorism” of popular culture, and they were greeted by an official city condemnation and a clutch of protesters who said their event amounted to a “fascist mega-pep rally.” “Battle Cry for a Generation” is led by a 44-year-old Concord native, Ron Luce, who wants “God’s instruction book” to guide young people away from the corrupting influence of popular culture.

That’s bad news to Assemblyman Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, who told counter-protesters at City Hall on Friday that while such fundamentalists may be small in number, “they’re loud, they’re obnoxious, they’re disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco.”

And these people don’t think that supressing opposing viewpoints is fascistic in nature? What would you call a city that hates Christians and the military? Fill up the comments with suggestions. Just don’t suggest that it’s tolerant.

That would qualify for Bill O’Reilly’s “Most Ridiculous Item of the Day.”

Publisher’s note: Mark Leno says, “[Christian fundamentalists] should get out of San Francisco”? Amazing. This comment reveals incredible intolerance. No surprise though: Religion conflicts with his lifestyle and constituents. But as long as we’re talking about certain people who the city by the bay could do without, see this extensive photo collection.

  1. Dairenn Lombard Says:

One group of extremists yelling at another group of extremists. Just another day in the life of San Fransissy.

  2. Carlos Says:

Gosh, Gary, the first word that came to mind was “tolerant”. As it’s defined by the moonbats and PC police, anyway.

My wife was with a group of kids at the rally, and told me it was a hoot watching the PC police getting so riled up. Signs, shouts, gestures, and a couple of times threats.

Dairenn was almost right: Just another day in San Fransissy, but unfortunately she included the kids as extremists with the implication they were doing the same signs, shouts, getures and threats. From what I understand (from personal and national sources, it was only the nazis (those are socialists, therefore they are the PC police) who were doing the noisemaking and threatening.

Christianity is being tolerated less and less in this country because it constricts the hate in the world. Tolerance from hedonists extends only to those who agree with them.
