The House version is an excellent one and should be enacted immediately. In Venezuela, where President for Life Chavez can laugh at the poor fool peasants all the way to the bank while bankrupting the country. He knows his days are numbered before the peasants and/or military overthrow him, so he's getting everything out of the socialist system he can. And if single payer (in any form - single payer, public option or co-op) does make it through it will be only a matter of time before we have our own president for life.
