9-11 Remembered and the Politicization Thereof
Today is the Fourth anniversary of the 9/11 disaster where meniacal psychopaths flew planes into the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers. There was a breif period of harmony where Tom Daschle threw a big Bear Hug on the President and you saw pictures of Democrats and Republicans alike memorializing the event.
I sometimes wonder if the tragedy of 9/11 has become a footnote on the balance sheet of history because of what has happened since.
Even before 9/11, there was the contentious Florida Recount where Bush was ultimately determined to have won in all but the most extreme of models. Only one scenario had Gore winning in Florida. Then you had the “he’s illigetimate Moonbots” chanting their mantra ceaselessly.
They continued while we dealt with a diplomatic crisis of a P-3 Orion being forced to into an emergency landing when a Chineese fighter rammed the plane. Have you forgetten that mess? We then had to trade a Chineese spy for the crew of the plane.
Only 8 months into his Presidency, George Bush had to deal with the 9-11 attack. The weight of the world was on his shoulders, and the media focused on the fact the Bush shed some tears… what human wouldn’t. While the media tried to paint that as weakness, real men show emotion.
Then the lunacy started.
Bush grabbed a bullhorn days after the attack while standing on the debris pile with a retired Firefighter pressed back into service at his side and said, “To those that knocked these walls down, you will hear for all of us soon.”
While the media conveniently chooses to ignore Saddam’s ties to terror, Saddam and Afghanistan heard from us. Lybia chose to give up the fight rather than risk getting invaded. Iran had to rig an election to keep the Mullahs in power. Egypt is helping us out and Saudi Arabia has had to face the fact that the monster they created is now biting them in the butt.
You see, we earned the right to invade terrorist nations when we got attacked. That is the truth the left will always deny as they are forced to do what it takes to keep Bush’s approval numbers low in their attempt to regain the White House in 2008. It was their strategy to regain the White House in 2004… obstruct and attack…
While Kennedy was pounding Jack Daniels and launching outrageous tirades, while Robert Byrd was coming in and out on senility calling Bush an Armchair General… America was shaking its’ collective heads wondering if the whole thing had gone berzerk.
Leave us not forget Barbara Lee being the only vote against going into Iraq. Yes, the Dems voted to authorize Iraq, now like parrots one after another for 3 years they have been criticizing the war.
We had members of the United States Congress fly over to Baghdad, while rape rooms and torture chambers were still in operation… try to say that attacking Iraq was wrong. All the while, Saddam was shipping his WMD to Syria and Iran.
Remember the Spaghetti Argument: I have Pots and Pans (Mobile Labs), Sauce and Pasta in the cupboard and Meat in the freezer (Chemical Precursors)… while I don’t actually have Spaghetti, I could in a few short moments. EG, all the stuff was there to make the Chemical Weapons… just none were assembled by the time we got there. In a little reported story, residue was found in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers of Chemical Agents. However, to split hairs… the Democrats came up with the Bush lied garbage.
Bush led us into war under false pretenses they say… I thought that state sponsorship of Terrorism was also listed as a reason. Those who choose to ignore the fact that Saddam was paying the families of suicide bombers $25,000, nope, no tie. Abu Nedal was housed in Iraq before Saddam had him assassinated. Saddam had direct ties to Al Qaeda as has since later been proven… Nope it is all Bush’s fault.
You see, what has happened is that at DNC Headquarters… they have sold out to moveon.org, democrats.com, and other extremists that represent the 13% in the polls blaming Bush for Katrina that are viceral and psychotic in their personal need to re-gain power. In their psychosis, they have convinced themselves that preaching hatred is the way to get back into power.
This is the same hatred preached to the Black Community by their Race-Pimp leaders Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton… you are poor because the white man took it away from you. When someone’s mind is filled with that kind of hate… given the opportunity to act on it… no wonder why people shot at rescue Helicopters and Looted!? Is there somthing I am missing?
You look at what Bush has been faced with as President and the withering criticism from all over… You have to salute that man for being consistent and leading.
I wore my American Flag Shirt and my American Flag bandana to Church today. I am a patriot, I am not some meely-mouthed commie-lib UN-Loving sell-America-down-the-river Liberal. I love my country and when a political party casts their net into the waters of America is evil, man it makes me mad.
Who does everyone else turn to when they have a disaster? The USA.
Where the hell is China? Nowhere, why because they want to dominate the world and take us out in the process. At least the tinhorn dictator of Venezuela has offered some help… Where is France? Nowhere… we bailed them out of two world wars. You Libs, get on the phone and call your friends from France. Since you admire them, get them to pony up something…
I am so hot when I think about what the Democrats have done to politicize everything. This crap over Katrina was the Democrat strategy to respond to another terrorist attack. Yep, obstruct preparedness, pimp the 9-11 commission and then blame Bush for everything you prevented from being in place to prevent another terrorist attack. (such as stopping the renewal of the Patriot Act.) Since no terrorist attack has occurred, use Katrina as a target of opportunity.
You guys are sick, when people die you get off on blaming Bush for it. Am I Angry, not at all, this is what I have come to expect from the American left.
Where are the Zell Miller, Scoop Jackson Democrats? They have rode off into the sunset, the reality is today the ’60’s Hippie Crowd is carrying the day for the Democrat Party…
