Travel Light When Visiting Nation’s Capitol
Falling under the category of “What-Not-To-Do-While-In-Washington,” AP reports: “Police on Monday tackled and forcibly dragged away a man dressed in black and carrying two suitcases who had stationed himself in front of the west side of the U.S. Capitol.” Story developing.
“The midday incident  which occurred during one of Washington’s busiest tourist times, the annual flowering of the cherry blossoms  had forced police to evacuate that side of the Capitol in fear of a possible explosion.”
Tourist advisory: Loitering around the capitol with extra luggage in hand may be considered suspicious. Better to stick to cameras, fanny-packs (do they still make those?), and your “Kiss My American Ass, Osama” T-shirts.
Some spectators applauded as police dragged the man away.
This is going to be a scene in an episode of South Park one day. I just know it.
