Iraqi Insurgents Urge Sunnis to Vote, Warn Zarqawi
Yes, you read that headline right. What’s even stranger is that it’s being reported by Reuters. Here’s some of the proof that the political track is helping:
Saddam Hussein loyalists who violently opposed January elections have made an about-face as Thursday’s polls near, urging fellow Sunni Arabs to vote and warning al Qaeda militants not to attack. In a move unthinkable in the bloody run-up to the last election, guerrillas in the western insurgent heartland of Anbar province say they are even prepared to protect voting stations from fighters loyal to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, leader of al Qaeda in Iraq.
This is the unthinkable happening. This isn’t what the Congressional Democrats didn’t want to hear, either. They’ve been preaching from the Gospel of Awful News since Murtha first called for “immediate redeployment.”
When you factor in Saddam’s loyalists threatening Zarqawi’s troops with the massive demonstrations held in Jordan against Zarqawi, you have to conclude that we’re seeing the start of a seachange in the so-called Arab street and it isn’t moving in Zarqawi’s direction.
The part that says that the insurgents are “even prepared to protect voting stations from fighters loyal to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi” is nothing short of amazing and we should be cheering this news the most. Not because the Saddamists will now turn in their weapons and join the political movement but because it’s a form of nationalism. Nationalistic pride can be a factor against terrorists. We’ll see what happens.
“We want to see a nationalist government that will have a balance of interests. So our Sunni brothers will be safe when they vote,” said Fallujah resident Ali Mahmoud, a former army officer and rocket specialist under Saddam’s Baath party. “Sunnis should vote to make political gains. We have sent leaflets telling al Qaeda that they will face us if they attack voters.”
This is amazing considering what this means in the Arab world. The Saddamists and Zarqawi’s troops both hate the American and coalition troops. Despite that, the Saddamists are prepared to fight the terrorists. That’s a sign that things are getting personal.

ACLU - you refuse to bring legal action against the teaching of islam in schools yet because of seperation of church and state you persecute teaching of judaism and christianity.
i don’t care if some aclu lawyers might be jewish because in the auschwitz’s of europe there were jews called kapos who oppressed the jewish prisoners in the camps because the kapo’s dim imagination prevented them from imagining they also would be breating zyclon B
your promotion of islam proves you hate jews. but as it says in Genisis 12 GOD will bless those who bless the jews and curse those who curse the jews. in the last two verses of Amos it says the jews will possess the ancient land of israel forever and always control jerusalem, and will forever prosper in their land. and aclu because you hate jews you will forever be conscious of the wonderful life the jews will be enjoying while you are inflicted with burning in hell where you will not even be premitted one drop of water to cool your tounge even after burning as carl sagan said ‘billions and billions’ of years. and after burning for ‘billions and billions’ of years without one drop of water to cool your tounge you will know the future will be “billion and billion” of years of more burning. aclu you promote the cruelty of islam’s sharia law but God’s cursing you for cursing the jews will do to you far worse than all the meaness of shaira.
God because of his mercy does forgive people for doing evil (and i also do evil), by Jesus payedwhat justice demands for our evil, then GOD expects these people to turn away from evil as best as they can. however aclu you insist on promoting the hatred of jews, and because you do not do your part in refusing to do evil, you will not escape the calamity you bring on yourselves. besides promoting hatred of jews you are also have additonal guilt because you refuse to prevent future baby murder but attempt to continue roe v wade.
aclu you really are showing you are intelligent.
