Dick Cheney A No-Show At National Review’s 50th Anniversary Gala
Since its founding in 1955, National Review is considered by many to be one of the United States’ most politically influential publications in conservative circles.
Founder William F. Buckley, Jr. was there. Rush Limbaugh was there. So was George Will, Orrin Hatch and many others. Jack Yoest and his wife Charmaine have the photos to prove it.
The Vice President, however, failed to appear as scheduled. What a pity.
But maybe he felt unwelcome. Can’t say we blame him.
