Who’s the War Criminal?

Iranian PresidentIranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who recently said, “Israel must be wiped off the map. The Islamic world will not let its historic enemy live in its heartland,” is also suspected of being one of the terrorists who took US hostages at the US embassy in Tehran in 1979. Now the Iranian President is saying of Pres. George W. Bush: “You, who have used nuclear weapons against innocent people,” (terrorists are innocent people?) “who have used uranium ordnance in Iraq, should be tried as war criminals in courts.”

Those who have accused Pres. Bush of being a war criminal or killing innocent Iraqis include:

  • Iranian Pres. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
  • Saddam Hussein
  • Abu Musab al-Zarqawi
  • Osama Bin Laden
  • Cindy Sheehan
  • Al Sharpton
  • Michael Moore
  • Democrats (take your pick)

If that weren’t enough, now the former U.S. attorney General Ramsey Clark is JOINING the DEFENSE team of SADDAM HUSSEIN. (you read that right) Clark visited Saddam in Baghdad in February 2003 just before the US led liberation of Iraq (arguably in a last ditch effort to save the dictator’s behind), and Clark also helped defend former Yugolsav leader Slobodan Milosevic as well as David Koresh and a Rwandan war lord. Clark, who also called for the impeachment of Pres. Bush earlier this year, is a first rate peacenik and a staunch opponent to any military engagement the US participates in, while actively defending enemies of America.

Meanwhile, Iraqis are demanding that Saddam be executed as the trial against Saddam and his homies resumes on Monday.

Clearly the anti-American, anti-war movement of the world includes strange bed-fellows: liberals, Democratic politicians, terrorists and dictators. In contrast, those supporting the war on terror in Iraq are Iraqis, the US military and patriotic Americans who know their own history; that freedom is worth fighting for and worth spreading.

The common denominator in the spread of terrorism and defense of terrorists is anti-Americanism and pacifism. The common denominator in ridding the world of terrorism is success in Iraq. Even Barbie could do the math.
