The other thing that point (C) really supports for it not being likely that it is “children” is that these things are pretty weighty/hefty. Not quite that easy for a “child” to throw with any reasonable range and/or accuracy against a moving vehicle.

While I agree that there are instances where children in Iraq (and elsewhere) are being used by insurgents/terrorists in their attacks on US/Coalition/Iraqi Govt force… I do not believe that is the case in this video.

Conclusions:

(A) The “throwers” are most likely not “children” due to their size.

They might be 18 to 21 year olds (adults), but they are certainly not “children”.

Download the video and watch it in slow speed - full screen in Windows Media Player. Compare the height of the white car and the two people in the foreground to the actual two who are the throwers. You can also compare their height to the Humvee they attack. They are too tall for them to be “children”. There is one individual who is in the foreground who is in blue who does appear to be the right size for a child but this person appears to be just a bystander and not involved in the attack.

(B) The “throwers” are most likely not “children” due to their clothing.

It was pointed out to me (by my Kurdish wife) that the throwers are both wearing clothing that is common among adult males, known to most as the dishdasha, AKA “man-dress”.
Most kids are seen running around in jeans or pants and tshirts. Do a little poking around on the internet and see for yourself.

(C) The attackers appear to be throwing something far more destructive than simple “grenades” and thus HEAVIER.

Three things support this:
1 - The explosion/fireball is obviously far larger than most baseball-sized “hand” grenades would cause.
(Ask anyone who’s thrown live HE grenades and/or seen RPGs, LAWs, AT4s or SMAW rounds fired. I’ve seen them, and they do not have the same signature as handgrenades.)

2 - Freeze framing the video shows the throwers hurling objects that appear to be long or oblong and not round. This leads me to believe they are either “potato-masher” type grenades, modified Rifle grenades, modified 60mm mortar rounds or modified RPG rounds. (Modified so that the fuzes are already armed and ready to explode, basically disarming any build in “safety”.)

These people were innocent. So were our soldiers. After our bombing their country, gee, you think the Iraqis might be a little pissed off?

Their friends and family are getting blown to smithereens. Everyone there knows someone that has gotten killed and more having been seriously injured. 100,000 dead reported by the prestigous “Lancet” medical journal in Nov, 2004. The vast majority of them have been killed by US.

Well, now Saddam is on trial for massacres, and none of us liberal retards are complaining. (But to be fair , neither is Saddam’s buddy Rumsfeld.) ALL those who are under reasonable suspicion of having commited war crimes should be on trial (eg Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, may God speed the day.)
