Oh, That’s Nice, CNN

(story broken by Matt Drudge)
Vice Pres. Dick Cheney on Monday gave a speech defending the White House’s position on the war in Iraq. Great speech (Hat tip Political Teen: short video). During CNN’s live broadcast of the speech, 3-4 large X’s flashed across the Vice-President’s face.
CNN MARKS CHENEY: NETWORK FLASHES ‘X’ OVER VP’S FACE DURING LIVE SPEECH
**Exclusive**
At 11:04:45 AM ET Monday CNN was airing Vice President Dick Cheney’s speech live from the American Enterprise Institute in Washington  when a large black ‘X’ repeatedly flashed over the vice president’s face!
The ‘X’ over Cheney’s face appeared each time less than a second, creating an odd subliminal effect.
As this DRUDGE REPORT screen capture reveals, while one ‘X’ flashed over Cheney’s face CNN ran a headline at the bottom of its screen: “CHENEY: I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO CRITICIZE.”
One top White House source expressed concern about what was aired over CNN.
“Is someone in Atlanta trying to tell us something?”
A CNN spokesman did not return repeated calls late Monday night.
Is this the same CNN who in 2004 uploaded a photo of the campaigning Pres. Bush with a label something like, “dumbass.jpg”? Thanks to the blogosphere and screen captures, CNN quickly re-uploaded the picture under a more suitable title with a brief disclaimer that an intern “having fun” uploaded it under that name. Right.
No media bias?

Communist News Network At It Again
Let’s just remember that in the recent past we’ve had the zoomed in note for a bathroom break scandal, the Condi “satan eyes” scandal, and all the lies being spewed about the Plame affair and the WMD’s. Does anyone reall…

CNN: Masterful Blunderers, or Blatantly Biased?
While Vice President Dick Cheney was delivering a speech about the Iraq War, CNN flashed a giant “X” across the screen.

CNN Adds Effects to Cheney Speech
More than likely someone was trying to be funny and thought it was displayed quickly enough that no one would notice. Too bad for them there is an alternative media now.

Once again CNN is showing its true colors. Today it showed an X over VP Cheney’s face with the words “CHENEY: I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO CRITICIZE” at the bottom of the screen.

An “X”? Obviously the work of sinister atheist liberal forces. Why couldn’t they have used a “G” (as in God) or a “B” as in Big Daddy?
