		<description>Not so sure it was for self-serving aggrandizement as it was to get the moonbats on record, clearly, with no "I voted for the war before I voted against the war" garbage one often hears from the 'bats.

And I'd rather they were wasting time doing this than dreaming up new ways of getting into the taxpayers' knickers.</description>

		<description>I am for the war but I think it is a meaningless resolution anyway, and I am annoyed by Republicans using meaningless gestures for their own self-aggrandizement. Therefore I support those who voted against this resolution because it is a bunch of nonsense. The business of Congress is not to waste their time (and our money) with self-satisfied testaments to their own patriotism. The war is not about them and shouldn't be used as a giant campaign commercial for any incumbant Republican or Democrat for that matter.</description>
