JFK believed in an aggressive foreign policy that vigorously defended American Interests abroad. JFK believed in a strong military to support foriegn policy, defend democracy against oppression. Contrast that with the experience of the most of the Republican candidates who don't have to hide behind the Democrat-controlled mainstream media to cover the less than appealing aspects of their (Democrat candidate) political careers.
