Thanks to the wonder of the internet, there's a wealth of reading material available from both sides of your political spectrum. I'm always amazed at the level of bile and vitriol from *both* sides directed towards each other.

And to cap it off, you're taking sound bites from celebrities as somehow useful for defining what a liberal is? They're there to make noise and generate publicity.

As far as the Dixie Chicks and Sean Penn go, they're hardly likely to appear at a soup kitchen anytime soon in response to their remarks. Long live the American dream ;)</description>
