The Media “Reports” On Their Hero: Can You Guess Who?

Consider the following description:

“….still roars as one of America’s leading [public figures]…”

“…shrugs off an achy back and heads toward [the next fight]…”

“…tireless efforts on behalf of the downtrodden…”

“…orates with a booming voice. Sometimes it has the cadence of a drum roll, other times the fury of fireworks.”

“[I]t’s the injustice that I continue to see and the opportunity to have some impact on it,” this person is quoted.

“I’m for you and you and you and you,” this person shouts.

Who could this populist champion, this fighter for the people, be?

Mother Theresa? Rev. Billy Graham? John Kerry? Al Sharpton?

Close enough.

These quotes come from a Reuters “report” on, none other than, Senator Ted Kennedy.

You decide if it’s news.

Michelle Malkin has much more to say on the matter.

Publisher’s note: If you guessed Bill Clinton before reading the answer, you’d still be correct. There’s just too many examples to include on this page.
