Susan Estrich: “The Case for Hillary”

Case for HillaryShe’ll have to do better than this.

You’d think that someone who just wrote a book entitled, The Case for Hillary, would have facts and figures at her fingertips to actually make a case. You’d be wrong.

On Tuesday, Bill O’Reilly interviewed Susan Estrich, who’s busy making the rounds to peddle her new book. (Just like Dick Morris)

O’Reilly asked her some very basic questions regarding the Senator’s positions on Iraq, the border, and health care — which could have been seized by Estrich as an opportunity — to shed some light on Hillary Clinton’s views that would make her, as the book’s title suggests, an attractive candidate in 2008. (Not to mention promote her book, which was the obvious objective for appearing on the show)

Instead, Estrich sounded clueless. Embarrassingly so.

What do you mean sounded? Estrich is clueless. I can only imagine what damage she is doing to the USC law school. I’m glad my daughter is a senior and not going for a law degree.

Two “professors” USC should drop are Estrich and Robert Scheer.

I’m glad you guys posted this piece and links. I saw the interview that night and knew it had to be shared. The video is a classic and should be considered the Rediculous Item of the Year. Kudos to Bill O’Reilly for asking questions too simple for Hillary’s cheerleader to answer.

[...] Just look at Jackson, Rangel, Sharpton, all the usual suspects. They make race the central issue of every demand. Look to the L.A. mayoral race last year. Look no further than Dick Morris‘ latest book, which he’s been peddling aggressively for months. Premise: Condi “is the best candidate to beat Hillary,” but not just because she’s a women, but because she’s black. Agree or disagree, Morris makes his argument. [...]
