#1 You dont know who I listen to, oh stereo typing genious, but Ill tell you this much, its not the golfer. He's just as bad as the rest of the blow hard Republican country club wimps in my book.

#2 Nobody knew what the hell to do with the 14th before the Grange, Packinghouse and railroad rates cases. It was probably the first feel good measure ever passed, and it took that long before states rights sentiment began to wane, even in the north.

#3 So, the garbage mouth Dusty found a niche in West Palm Beach! Where all the white belts and shoes from Cleveland come spend the winter. Well, good for her.
Im not offended by that, I disagree with her, but if she found a place to do what she does, Im cool with that, because I dont have to listen to her.

See thats where your perverted definition of fairness runs amuck; fair doesnt mean, you get to cram your views down my throat, (I wont listen anyway). Your the one who seems upset that somebody may be in Washington to counter your parade.

"Fair" means we all get an equal opportunity to sell our ideas ON OUR OWN, not an equal outcome. Your right the public owns the airwaves, and private enterprise (thats right, those greedy bastard capitalists) own the radio stations. That means they get to choose what to run, usually something that is popular, so they can make money for you to tax and piss away on the lazy, drug addicted and the illegal aliens.

Im sorry to break it to you, this aint a fair world. Im about as pissed off with our leaders as you are, im just on the other end of the spectrum, if you dont like it, go live somewhere else, but dont trash my country in the process with your Marxist Stalinist crap.

Rocky, the symbol of winning is not the French white flag of victory, and that is exactly what the vocal left wishes. That is at the very least surrender and defeat. That is reality, not your rose-colored view that there were never terrorists until we invaded Iraq, and that if we just leave them alone they'll leave us alone, too.

So SDB misspelled a word. Big deal! It's not like you (or I) haven't misspelled words here before.

In spite of your view that the NYT is basically a right-of-center rag, most of the media is demonstrably left of center, including NPR. You would know that if the baseline definition hadn't been pushed so far toward socialism.

And finally, the way the judiciary has thrown intent aside (after the first couple of decades of challenges to the amendment) and re-interpreted it to fit their own agenda, it kinda makes one wonder if "stare decisis" is only important if discarding legal precedent results in furthering a liberal or socialist agenda.

I won't knock your reading ability, Rocky. Only your ability to absorb facts and make decisions and conclusions based on those facts, not what makes you feel good. Faulty premises make for faulty conclusions and a whacked-out world-view. Socialism doesn't work, neither does talking nice to thugs.

First, Southdakotaboy, nobody is surprised that you're having trouble posting a comment; with drivel and lies like the loser left will not be able to disrespect our troops unapposed [sic], which reveals more about you and your intelligence than I think you intended, it is hardly shocking that you can't find the "submit" button. Nobody on the left (which, in case you didn't see it, won the last election, so I guess that makes them the winning left) disrespects our troops. In fact, we respect them so much, we are angry that the Bush cabal is killing them in Iraq, and want to bring them home now.

TA, where do you get your information? If all you listen to is OxyRush Limpdick, you're getting an awfully one-sided viewpoint. I'm surprised that he could take time away from packing two cases of wine for his Hawaiian vacation (yes, I listened the other day for a few minutes to see what he was blathering about, and caught his tale of woe about how hard it is to get ready to go on vacation, poor thing) to say anything of merit... oh, nevermind.

The left has not bombed in every AM market:

Broadcast by WJNO, an AM news and talk radio station in West Palm Beach, "The Randi Rhodes Show" is the highest-rated program in the local market's afternoon drive-time slot. Rhodes has more Palm Beach listeners than even Rush Limbaugh, whose show immediately precedes hers on WJNO.

While that is but one example, there are many others. It is hard, however, to find as many as there are conservative talk radio programs, and there is a reason why. Most of what is labeled "liberal" by the dittoheads and their ilk is actually fair and balanced. Not the type of fair and balanced that Fox Noise engages in, but more the fair and balanced type of reporting that NPR and C-SPAN deliver. The problem is that reality has a liberal bent.

For example, consider the very fact that there ever was a Fairness Doctrine. It grew out of an understanding that the airwaves are in the public domain (hence, radio and television stations are granted a license and do not own the airwaves) and as such, it should be required that the stations present a balanced viewpoint. What a liberal point of view!

But, as to this idea that the Left thinks they should have exclusive use of the streets of Washington, where did that come from? It comes back to the same principle that the people own the streets, and groups from the Left have every bit as much a right to demonstrate in the street as the Right. Another liberal concept... equal protection and all.

Imagine trying to get the 14th Amendment passed today. I can hear the mocking disgust in OxyRush's voice now...

Is there any such thing as clear thought or reason among the left?

The want a fairness doctrine to force their views on AM talk radio where they have totally bombed every attempt to gain a market, but think they should have exclusive use of the streets of Washington as if they are their private property to protest anything and everything.

How will this turn out? Probably, just like the last time Michelle Malkin tried to stir up trouble with the "gathering of Eagles" groups: nothing happened. And oh yeah, it turns out the "threat" she blathered on about endlessly originated with right-wing extremists.

No damage, no riots, just a peaceful protest (unless you count the belligerent "gathering of Eagles" counter-protesters):

The antiwar demonstrators amassed on the north side of the Lincoln Memorial chanting demands for peace now. The counterprotesters, fewer in number but no less vocal, gathered on the east side of the Vietnam Wall and shouted political taunts — many laced with obscenities.

So, maybe this protest will be productive and relevant... if they can keep the Michelle Malkins of the world away.

International ANSWER is just a collection of neo-Marxists.

One might as well have the neo-Nazi National Alliance spearheading this protest.
