Selling Out America to Illegal Aliens
“Immigration is a tough issue for a lot of Americans. The agreement reached today is one that will help enforce our borders, but equally importantly, it will treat people with respect. This is a bill where people who live here in our country will be treated without amnesty, but without animosity.”
-
– President George W. Bush, May 17, 2007
With all due respect to el Presidente, he is wrong — the current so-called immigration “reform” is an outrageous sellout of our nation’s sovereignty. If the legislation passes, the consequences will be dire.
Yesterday’s frontpage of USATODAY caught our eye. The bold headline (even bigger than shown in the graphic below) proclaimed: “Minorities Top 100 million“ — “Hispanics account for nearly half of growth”

At which point will the number be so great that non-whites are no longer referred to as the obligatory “minority”? (And here’s another question: if whites become the minority, will they receive special benefits, too?)
Anyway, it’s hard to describe our level of disgust after reading the latest news. For starters, the AP headline: “Sen. Kennedy Defends Immigration Bill” says it all. If he’s supporting it, we’re not buying it — even if they’re life jackets.
Critics complained that it would reward the nation’s estimated 12 million illegal immigrants with a way of gaining legal status and staying in the U.S. permanently without being punished.
Asked about amnesty on CBS’s “The Early Show” Friday morning, Kennedy said, “That’s sort of a slogan and a cliche you’re going to hear a lot about.” He said fixing the nation’s “broken borders” is long overdue.
Indeed. And it’s not done by rewarding 12 million ILLEGALs with citizenship.
“What part of illegal does the Senate not understand? Any plan that rewards illegal behavior is amnesty,” said Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Calif., chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus.
Amen.
Unfortunately, we’re seeing the biased MSM working overtime today, distorting the message and playing up the sympathies. They’re not reporting, they’re editorializing.
This real issue is about that status and handling of ILLEGAL aliens, who have entered America, ILLEGALLY, and now have the audacity to demand rights.
Mexicans Fear U.S. immigration plan
And why should we care?
Many liberal groups, which revere Kennedy as his party’s decisive voice on immigration, reserved judgment on the deal, calling it a good starting point and holding out hope of improving it during next week’s Senate debate. But they also voiced substantial worries.
Jorge Mursuli of People For the American Way said the measure “departs radically from America’s immigration tradition of putting family reunification first. This bill also includes a future worker program that is destined for failure.” Mursuli nonetheless called the plan a “solid start.”
Family reunification? If every illegal alient was sent back (or went willingly) home to Mexico, they would easily be “reunited” with their families. Instead, the dirty truth is, they come here — have a baby (”anchor baby“) — and then according to current law, allow their entire (often extended) family to immigrate. It’s outrageous.
And to those who say we need the labor, consider this: They may be doing some of the work “others won’t do”, but their children will not do the same. Of the 100 million minorities — with the largest population being hispanic — does anyone believe they’re all “cheap labor?”
The entire immigration debate is a farce with only a few people willing to call it for what it is: A very short-sighted move by our “leadership” to gain low-cost employment and political appeasement.
Fortunately, we’re not the only ones “mad as hell.” Michelle Malkin has more.
And what else do you expect from the Bay Area?

No Amnesty!!…
Well, after years of doing absolutely nothing about illegal immigration, the government has decided to address the problem by making it worse. Once again, the safety and security of America falls victim to political machinations and gutless politicians…

if the congress was really concerned about illegal immigration the first thing they would do is stop the anchor babies.

Californians – Join us as we picket the ACLU in your state!
If you live in California and especially within a couple hours of OrangeCounty , the Coalition invites you to join the Minutemen, FIRE and others for a huge protest in front of the ACLU of Orange County offices. You will not be able to find this address online but we have it and the ACLU will not be looking forward to it when hundreds and hopefully thousands of patriotic Americans stand in front of their office to let them know they will not make America in their image without encountering the fiercest resistance they have seen in this organization’s lifetime.
Here are the details:
·WHO: You and countless other Americans
·WHAT: A picket and protest of the ACLU and specifically the ACLU of Orange County
·WHERE: 2140 W. Chapman, Suite 209, Orange, CA
·WHEN: Friday, June 15th from 12 noon to 3 PM
·WHY: Because we’re sick of all the ACLU lawsuits and their efforts to make America a 3rd world country.
·HOW: By your presence and bringing your friends and family with you
We are aware that your presence may necessitate taking off of work that day, however, I don’t think you need an explanation of how essential it is that we have a sizable showing against the American Communist Lawyers Union. Obviously it would be preferable to do this on a Saturday but since the ACLU seldom works weekends, the next best bet is doing this on a Friday.
We are asking as many Californians as possible to be there this day and to bring an extra person or two with you. Our goal is to have 5000 people standing outside the ACLU’s office. Californians in the Stop the ACLU database comprise roughly 1/3rd of its total supporters. Over half of that amount is within a 2 to 2½ hour drive of OrangeCounty.
If everyone within a reasonable proximity to the ACLU’s office shows up and brings a couple others with, we should have, along with the Minutemen and other groups that will be there, at least 5000 people. Therefore I ask you – can you commit to coming?
If you can commit to coming, please let me know by e-mailing me at nedd@stoptheaclu.org (do not reply to this message to tell me) and let me know how many how many in your party can come. Do not use the nedd@stoptheaclu.org address for any correspondence not relevant to this event. Use the info@stoptheaclu.org for normal communications.
We have requested one of our suppliers to make at least 1000 Stop the ACLU T-shirts that will be especially designed for this event. They are not the T-shirts that are currently available from our Stop the ACLU store at http://www.bizarrefun.com. There are specially created shirts with our web site on the back and a patriotic design with it.
However, we hope you will go to our Bizarre Fun store and order one of our other T-shirts or one of our great caps, which you will find available by clicking here. We will make these shirts available in bulk quantity within the next few days and will post information on the web site and in an e-mail as soon as we have all the details available. We would ask that everyone coming would purchase one of these shirts, which we hope to make available at a reasonable price, so that we will have an idea of how many of our supporters were there at the rally. A portion of purchasing these shirts will go towards Coalition expenses and help us do more tangible things to stop the ACLU.
We will need folks to make up signs to be prominently displayed and carried. If you are willing to help in this respect, contact me at nedd@stoptheaclu.org.We hope to garner fairly good media coverage from this event. We will request World Net Daily to cover it in one of their articles. We will also get this information to CNSNews & FreeRepublic. We will also attempt to secure a speaker from one of the Christian and conservative public interest law firms that take on the ACLU – either from the Alliance Defense Fund, the American Center for Law & Justice or the Pacific Justice Institute. And though yours truly cannot guarantee coming because we will be moving to Indiana around that time, I will make every effort to come.
If anyone living in the vicinity of the ACLU’s OrangeCounty office would be willing to put me up overnight Friday, assuming I do come, let me know.
We should expect that ACLU supporters and perhaps groups advocating illegal immigration, abortion and the homosexual agenda may show up as well. And we are asking, as many of you as possible, to stay for the entire 3 hours. We all have busy schedules but the more people that can stay the entire time, the more impact will be made.
For those who want to stay the entire 3 hours but can’t be on their feet all that time, feel free to bring a lawn or similar chair to sit. We don’t want to lose you if you can’t stand the entire time.
Many thanks goes to one of our supporters named Barry who helped coordinate this picket by his communications with the Minutemen of California and others who we anticipate will be there. He also informed us that he and a few others stopped at the OrangeCountyACLU office earlier this week and that the employee they spoke with is nervous, knowing that there are a number of organizations that oppose the ACLU and will be there for the rally.
Giving the ACLU heartburn, isn’t that what we want to do?
After this picket, we plan to organize ACLU pickets in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego and will begin doing this in other states across the country as well. State coordinators, we would like you to set up with me a picket of your state’s ACLU offices. Contact me to set up a time on the phone we can discuss the details.
If you are in a state without a current coordinator in place and want to organize a picket and protest, leave me your information and I will be happy to coordinate something with you.
Let’s put the ACLU on the run and let them know they are unwelcome here in America.
