…you actually see bloggers of name posting pieces saying that we NEED the illegals because corporations depend on the ability to exploit cheap labor.

That sounds pretty outrageous. If you can share some links with us to evidence such statements, we’ll take them to task and publish it here.

Beyond that, you make some valid points…

We’re certainly not whistling, we’re yelling STOP!

You realize that the term “greedy corporations” makes you a heretic on the right.

Too bad so many on the right have lost the ability to distinguish between corporatism, and capalism. There really IS such a thing as “free market exremism” and nowhere does it show more clearly than the immigration issue.

The left looks at the illegals and sees 12 million new Democratic voters.

The archdiocese looks at the illegals and sees 12 million new catholics to fill their empty pews.

Turn to our brethern on the right, where you would expect to find some sanity and instead you actually see bloggers of name posting pieces saying that we NEED the illegals because corporations depend on the ability to exploit cheap labor.

When you’ve sold out to corporatism so far that you’re actually making the argument that the illegals are a good thing because they keep the prices of goods down in America, you’ve stepped over a very imporant line.

Anyone who thinks that the Republican’s are going to escape a SHELLACKING in November because of this issue is “whistling through the graveyard.”

Period.
