Schiavo To Campaign For Lamont
Connecticut’s ultra-liberal Ned Lamont, a businessman running against Joe Lieberman for the Senate, has made a new friend: Michael Schiavo.
You remember Michael Schiavo. He was the “husband” of Terri Schiavo. Terri fell into a coma Feb. 25, 1990 from complications due to an eating disorder and chemical imbalance. She died on March 31, 2005 after Michael Schiavo found a new honey and fought for Terri’s death as if his life depended upon it. Via court order, Terri was starved and dehydrated to death.
Mr. Lamont said of Terri Schiavo-like cases:
“There ought to be a huge distance between my hospital room and the federal government.”
Sen. Lieberman said, on the other hand:
“I believe that certainly in cases where there is not a living will … I feel very strongly that we ought to honor life and we ought not to create a system where people are being deprived of nutrition or hydration in a way that ends their lives. This was a heartbreaking case.”
Wow, no wonder Lieberman is at odds with the Democratic Party. He has a heart.
Schiavo and Lamont appear in a press conference tomorrow.

It should be noted that there are well-known Stalinist war crimes apologists in the Ned Lamont’s family. Does anybody remember Corliss Lamont, that well-known apologist for any and all crimes committed by the Stalin regime?
That Michael Schiavo comes even close to Lamont tells me a lot about Lamont and the brain-dead Democrats that support him. I hope Lieberman points to the legally-questionable decisions made by the Florida courts in this case, and the legally disgraceful interactions between Schiavo’s attorney and the ruling judge in this case.

I still can’t figure out where Terri Schiavo or her family situation is any of my freakin business. But I fear what I would do to anybody who would exploit my family’s pain and tragedy for their own selfish political gain. Dead! Some people in America still actually care for their family. Not many…but some.
