Political Correctness Be Damned! We’re at War with Islamists

If I hear one more person on a news or talk show say that we’re fighting a war against terrorism, I’m going to scream! If one more Bush Administration official says that Islam is a peaceful religion, get ready for another scream.

When we fought Nazi Germany during World War II, we were not fighting a war on blitzkriegs. When we declared war on Japan following their vicious sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, we were not fighting a war on militarism. Why do we continue to say we are at war against terrorism? First of all, terrorism is an ambiguous term. Today, I heard some liberal-left newsman on a radio show say that Israel was engaged in “state terrorism” against the Lebanese people. You have liberals within the US and Europe who call the United States a terrorist nation. How many times have you heard this nuggest of wisdom? “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”

However, when you say we are at war against Islamofascism or radical Islam or Muslim extremists, there is far less ambiguity and much more focus on whom the enemy is in this current war.

Yet, many political leaders — such as Sen. Chuck Schumer — who have no problem denigrating Christians on the floor of the US Senate, refuse to acknowledge the true enemy in this war.

Most of our political leaders are ignorant of Islam and the problems Muslims face when attempting to practice a cohesive religion. Islam is and always was an ambiguous religion. In order to understand how one group can argue that Islam is a religion of peace while another group commits atrocities in the name of Islam, one must return to the source of this religion which is diametrically opposed to liberal democracy.

The Koran is actually a very confusing book. It does not provide practitioners of Islam a clear and unambiguous roadmap to heaven. In fact, Arabic scholars have explained that the Koran is divided into two contradictory — opposing — viewpoints of how Muslims should interact with one another as well as non-believers. In fact, there are only two points on which all Muslims agree:one must accept Allah and Allah’s Trinity (Din, Dunya, Dwala); and Mohammad is the last and foremost prophet of God.

Scholars divide the Koran as written by Muhammad into the Mecca period from 610 to 622; and the Medina period from 622 to 632. Mecca is best described as a period of tolerance, even pluralism. It was a belief in “live and let live.”

“You shall have your religion and I shall have mine.”

However, the Medina period can be characterized as a religion delving into politics, power and armed conflict in the name of Allah.

“And kill them wherever you find them.”

So when we hear Islamic leaders discuss their beliefs, we come away as confused as the Muslims themselves. The fact is that some may be referring to Mecca, some may be referring to Medina, and some may be referring to both the Mecca and Medina. Besides the confusion caused by the Koran, add other components of Islam such as Sunna, Hadith and Rivya, and it’s no wonder that Koranic scholars are at odds with one another.

In short, Islam is at once a religion and an ideology. It’s totalitarian ideology is comparable to Nazism, Communism and Fascism.

Islamic leaders in the United States tell President George W. Bush that Islam is a religion of peace and give him some verses from the Koran and he relays this to the American people. As with most politically correct jargon, people are encouraged to deny the evidence of their own senses.

Practitioners of Islam are today involved in conflagrations throughout the world. Here are a few violent conflicts occurring today:

* The continued battle in Iraq has morphed from the deposing of a dictator into civil unrest by opposing sects of Islam, as well as Al-Qaeda terrorists who believe in an Islamic mission of world domination.

* In Afghanistan, the remnants of the radical Islamic groups the Taliban and Al-Qaeda continue to wreak havoc in that fledgling democracy.

* In Somalia, Islamists have all but overthrown a newly formed government. These Islamists have been responsible for not only violence, but also the starvation of the Somali people. The unrest is growing, with neighboring Ethiopia becoming involved in the armed conflict.

* In India, a predominately Hindu nation, Islamists have conducted terrorist attacks and Kashmir remains a region of violent contention by Islamic and Hindu residents.

* Terrorist attacks have occurred in Spain and Europe. The one armed conflict occurring in Russia is perpetuated by Islamists. In one attack, these Muslim terrorist invaded a school and brutally murdered children.

Add the Islamic terrorist operations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc., and it is clear to most observers that there exists an asymmetric war being waged by those whose religion-ideology favors Medina over Mecca.

There is nothing new with large scale violence perpetrated by Muslims. At the end of the 19th Century, a man arose who claimed he was the Mahdi (The Guided One) — the one promised by Mohammad — who would unite the Islamic world either peacefully or through violence and then conquer the world for Allah’s paradise. This Mahdi created a massive army of followers who decided on the way to worshipping in Damascus — and while there, occupying Syria — they would overthrow the governments of the Sudan, Egypt and other nations. When the Mahdi wiped out an modern army in the desert and then invaded Khartoum, the British found it necessary to send a large force to stop him and his murderous Dervish.

In short, it’s safe to say that Islamism is political religion or a religious ideology. So political correctness be damned. We at war with Islamists, or a better term would be a war on Islamofascism.

So I’m guessing you’re advocating either immediate deportation or internment camps for ALL followers of Islam in the US? Christianity in the US isn’t used politically? Snort! Giggle. Guffaw.

Michelle is correct on all points. When we lack the resolve to even label our enemy, he is all the more encouraged! The Islamo-fascists, hiding behind their facade of religiosity, are perfectly satisfied to let us argue among ourselves about their various goals and actions, and laugh at our confusion! It’s time to face them down, call them for what they are, end the pretense of ‘religous protection’ and once they demonstrate their fascism, take them at face value and act accordingly. We have become so mired in PC-BS that we can’t see the trees for the forest. And this blindness could prove fatal.

It’s good to finally see articles that show that the world is under siege from Islam.

An important aspect to Islam that Jim Kouri may not have had room/time to include in his article, is that Muhammad’s stories changed as his influence and power changed. Islam’s own scriptures describe situations where people caught him forgetting his previous lies and changing Allah’s message/story at later dates.

Muhammad’s response was that Allah is wise beyond our understanding, and doesn’t need to let us know why he changes his mind. When Allah reveals inconsistent messages, the last one revealed abrogates the previous one.

So, all even somewhat knowledgeable Muslims are aware that the later, most hateful and violent surahs override all other teachings.

One last thing to emphasize on this subject, however, is that even though the later surahs are especially horrid, the first surahs are also hateful, depraved, and violent. So, let’s not be fooled into believing that there is room for some Muslims to interpret Muhammad/Allah’s teachings such that Islam can be thought to come even close to representing a doctrine of peace.

    To BillyJoeJimBob,

I would first advise you of being careful about building straw-man arguments and/or putting words in Mr. Kouri’s mouth.
He never stated anything even close to employing internment camps.

Additionally, the evils and/or merits of Christianity have little or nothing to do with whether or not Islam is a doctrine that defines a good Muslim as someone who kills innocent men, women, and children, who treats women like domesticated pets, and who follows the deeds and words of a prophet whose own scriptures depict him as a pedophile, pirate, terrorist, murderer, liar, and rapist.

The way to deal with Muslims in the US and around the world is the same as we NOW treat Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan. These doctrines were tolerated until their true nature was finally revealed and recognized by the majority of the world. After this, it was unacceptable in almost any corner of the globe to be associated with these groups.

Therefore, if people like Mr. Kouri and others are brave enough to weather death threats from Muslims who want to torture and kill him for stating that they are hateful, and the ignorant and apathetic infidels (BillyJoeJimBob et al.) take just a few hours out of their lives to research Islam rather than let CNN tell them what it is, Islam would soon follow the path of Nazism and the KKK. The world would no longer tolerate Islamic regimes, and almost all people currently labeled as Muslims would be free of the oppression and fear that forces them to profess their allegiance to Muhammad and Allah. Only the unsaveable fringe elements that compose Islam would dare call themselves Muslims, and would become as irrelevant (although just as hateful and dangerous) as skinheads are today.
