John McCain, o’ John McCain,
Let us all sing his name!
He’s a brave hero, fought the Viet Cong
And now he’s fighting the battle
To keep America strong!
Snappy tune, eh? We just made it up.
But imagine this being sung by school children as carefully rehearsed and led by their teachers, with every child dressed in McCain t-shirts, chanting in a classroom adorned with McCain campaign propaganda. He might’ve won the election, right?
No. McCain would’ve been called out as desparate, a nut, a wacko, and with good cause. It’s creepy and disturbing. Not to worry, the broadcast-cum-activist media would’ve made sure that McCain’s name was destroyed along with criticisms of indoctrination, right-wing zealotry, and - wait for it - being akin to Nazi propaganda, engaging the youth (die Jugend) to learn obedience and to promote the political agenda at an early age.
So what can be said about the following:

One of the most concerning aspects of this activism-in-the-classroom is that the video above surfaced in September 2008, before the election. Yet, the story went largely ignored by the major news outlets.
Now, one year later, we’re seeing more of Obama in the classroom — and it evokes even greater concern, for the very same reason we didn’t have schoolchildren praising President Bush or President Reagan, or even President Kennedy. Obama supporters try to dismiss the critics as being silly, but it’s very real. And it’s a bipartisan issue for parents, despite what CNN says.
Schoolchildren should not be instruments for political action. And the historical comparison to Nazis and the Hitler Jugend being trained to praise the leader as the exhalted one is entirely apropos.

Now that Duh-1 has opened up this can of worms, is it OK to use children for incredibly strictly political purposes? Like, when can we start attacking his children? It’s just political, and all we’re trying to do is gain some political advantage.
He, and his brainless, sycophantic slaves, has no idea what Pandora’s box they’re opening.
