Wish I knew what your phobia of "theoCONS" was all about.

As a Christian, I fear a "Christian" theocracy more than Michael Moore does. But what I fear most is the unthinking allegiance people like Stop Bush! have for the secular progressive theocracy already established in this country, because their blind allegiance to that religion is destroying the greatest political experiment in human history.

And this all because they can't understand that the words written in the founding documents mean exactly what they say, and don't have nuances and "penumbras" of meaning and inclusion. Kinda like, "It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is."

As far as hate goes, how does one justify attacking a "hate speaker" by calling the Prez "an incompetent fool and the devil", and his minions "Larry, Moe and Curly"?

Pretty strong language for a tolerant person.

Carlos, if there's anyone who should know anything about spewing "filthy hate", it's you!

Besides that, what is the purpose of this article? Is Mr. Frank trying to distort the record (hey, why wait? Distortion today may result in a clouding of the facts tomorrow, and outright misrepresentation the day after that)? And how is Sen. Kerry making some gracious remarks upon President Reagan's death somehow duplicitious? I believe that had Sen. Kerry said anything else, the theoCONs would have jumped up and down (once again).

If the point is that Bush is no Reagan, Mr. Barnes is right. If the point is that liberals are attempting to distort Reagan's record to somehow cast Bush in a poorer light, the fact is that liberals don't have to distort anything to show that Bush is the most incompetent president we've ever had.

I ask again, just how bad do things have to get before the theoCONs admit that this administration is corrupt, dealing the US a fatal blow, and merrily leading us to armageddon? Need proof? Look around. We're tied down in Iraq, Iran is taking advantage of our weaknesses, pulling the strings behind Isreal/Hamas/Hezbollah killing each other and drawing the rest of the world into their conflict; North Korea is launching missiles at us and Japan; China and Russia are casting their votes with our enemy; I could go on for an hour but the point is made: we're in trouble. And we're being led by an incompetent fool and the devil, with senior advisors Larry, Moe and Curly.

But I guess if this keeps pundits like Fred Barnes and Patrick Buchanan busy while the world burns, its not a total waste of time. Let the finger pointing and name calling continue!

Just like when the donkeys talk about "values" and relating to the "religious right", their talk of their "admiration" of Reagan is empty rhetoric. They no more admire and aspire to be like him than they did when he was Prez, and the hate they have for anyone right of Michael Moore is going to destroy them.

We ain't the bumpkins they think we are, and we do have memories for some things. Like, who hated Mr. Reagan the most, and who spewed their filthy hate the most.
