Never forget that Morris has a track record - and that record says he was one of the big reasons that Bill Clinton won. Both times. It was Dick Morris' insight and "fingers on the pulse" that helped one of least qualified and most sinister humans on the planet into the White House. Perhaps... his wife too before it's all over with.

If Bill Clinton hadn't won a second term, his wife would certainly not have done as well in a senatorial race, and almost certainly wouldn't be a front-runner now.

Morris may have his problems, but you can't discount his track record. It was Morris' vision and polling that helped a disgraced and impeached man hold on to the Whitehouse for TWO terms.

Ignore him at your peril.

And... respectfully, if you don't believe that people are angry about gas prices, and won't hold Bush responsible, I think you're in for a surprise this November.

People are OUTRAGED by what's happening at the pump. And the GOP is going to pay for that outrage. I promise you.

To me, it's a testiment really to the left's unbelievable STOOPIDITY that they haven't made more out of Bush = Oil Man = $3.50 gasoline. My guess is that sometime between now and Novemember, someone will wise them up.

Morris this week and also in last week's Hill column (forecasting a "GOP wipeout") seems to be betting heavily on a D win, with not much supporting data. I note his insistence in both columns that gas prices will drive the electoral result.
