Larry’s On The Loose
I just finished watching a portion of Scarborough Country and it took everything in me to keep from laughing uncontrollably at Larry O’Donnell. What an idiot!!! One of his first questions was “Was Cheney drunk when this happened?” This was preceded bu O’Donnell’s talking about the time gap between when it happened to the first time Cheney appeared in public again.
Tucker Carlson jumped in and said that serious hunters don’t drink, with Scarborough jumpin in and asking him where he went hunting. I was proud of Carlson’s reply of “That might happen if you’re raccoon hunting in West Virginia” but that it doesn’t happen with serious hunters. Carlson also added that “Cheney is not a boozer” so for someone to suggest that he was intoxicated was way out of line.
Something that’s been very noticeable the past two days is the press’ s entitlement mentality and their prima donna attitude. It was noticeable when they scorned the idea that this accident wasn’t first reported to them but instead was reported to a Texas newspaper. The attitude was “We’re the gatekeepers of information, not some little Ma ‘n Pa hick newspaper. Based on the past 2 days’ performance, I wouldn’t be sure which group is the hicks.
That said, this White House’s communications office is atrocious. In this instance, they hid something that didn’t need hiding. If they would’ve gotten the details out immediately, this wouldn’t have been a story past noon Monday. Instead, it’s eating up all the truly newsworthy stories of the weekend.
As for Larry O’Donnell, he’s gone from somewhat serious to full moonbat right before our eyes. It hasn’t been a pretty sight.
