Ron Paul, or Dennis Kucinich, or any other space cadet that thinks like Rocky, is NOT going to be elected. (Thank God)

But if the Republicans loose the conservatives, and/or loose the election it will be their own damned fault, UH-gain!!

I suppose one might say that Christian Fundamentalism is to the GOP what the nutroots are to the Democrats, except that the GOP ledership really doesnt pay as much attention to them as the Dems do the nuts. Perhaps that would change if there was an Evangelical with pockets as deep as George Soros.

THe problem with conservatives that I see is that are too damned picky about who they want. Im just as guilty of that, but there is no perfect conservative candidate, partly because there is no conservative party. Republican Party is a moderate party with a conservative wing. That’s how we get guys like McCain that the New York Times just loves. He’s got his head screwed on right for foreign policy, but out to lunch on immigration. I sure as hell cant support that, but if it’s going to be him or Obama, what choice have I got?

Taking away “choice” is hardly conservative yet somehow the GOP has become the Pro-Life party. Does this mean everyone else is against life? Hardly…

What it has done is fracture the “true” conservatives.

The number ONE conservative value is “Individual Responsibility”. How can ANYONE say that the GOP and it’s minions believe that when all we hear about is the never ending drum beat of Pro-Life and the end of Roe vs Wade? Outlawing abortion is the death of the GOP and the sooner the morons in the GOP realize this the faster we can get back to TRUE conservative values of Individual Responsibilty first and foremost….

The US Government WILL NEVER be able to put cuffs on 13 yr old girls ankles….

This is the Change the GOP needs….
