“Hollyweird”
Michelle Malkin blogs: “When last Gwynnie Paltrow’s husband, Brit musician Chris Martin of the band Coldplay, put foot in mouth, he was proclaiming apocalypse:
“We are all going to die when George Bush gets his way.”
Evidently, he’s anti-capitalist, too. “I don’t really care about EMI. I’m not really concerned about that. I think shareholders are the great evil of this modern world,” said Martin in an interview.
Very interesting. And Gynyth Paltrow registers no different on the weird-o-meter. Birds of a feather.
Malkin notes: “There she was in the pages of Britain’s Glamour magazine last week, declaring that America is ‘too weird.’”
You have to ask yourself: Are Hollywood elites so ignorant that they fail to understand that movies are “big business,” measured only by profitability? (Certainly not quality) Same goes for the recording “industry.” Or are they, simply, so arrogant that they consider themselves in a special category?
In either case, maybe we should show them how capitalism really works by avoiding the box office.
