Former Aide to Powell Opens Fire on U.S. Administration
I knew this headline could mean only one person: Larry Wilkerson and he’s at it again. Talk about a whiny bureaucrat that won’t go away. We get the picture, Mr. Wilkerson. You’re an egotistical bureaucrat who thinks that officeholders should subscribe to your foreign policy. Nevermind the fact that pacifists like you are what’s wrong with our foreign policy. Let’s get to the article:
The former top aide to then-secretary of state Colin Powell has reportedly emerged as an increasingly high-profile and vocal critic of US administration policy at home and abroad.
“Reportedly”??? What planet has this idiot been orbiting? Wilkerson’s been sounding like a sourpuss ever since he said that Dick Cheney had “hijacked” foreign policy. Let’s also not forget this gem: “This is a very efficient cabal,” Wilkerson said. “Unquestionably, this is the most unique aspect of this administration.” Cheney “is the most powerful vice president in the history of this country.” The cabal, Wilkerson said, “cows” military leaders and runs roughshod over bureaucrats.
There’s no ego in Wilkerson’s family cuz he got all of it. Someone might want to remind Wilkerson, though I’d doubt it’d do much good, that he works for the administration and not vice versa.
“What I saw was a cabal between the vice president of the United States, Richard Cheney, and the secretary of defense, Donald Rumsfeld, on critical issues that made decisions that the bureaucracy did not know were being made,” the paper recalled Wilkerson saying in a speech at the New America Foundation in October. “And you’ve got a president who is not versed in international relations and not too much interested in them either,” he added, according to the Times.
I’ve got an important question to ask: Why did they run this article? This isn’t anything other than a rehash of an article that first surfaced nearly 2 months ago. The more you think about it, the more this article looks like a hit piece against the President and that it’s devoid of any news. This is the Agenda Media at its blatant worst.
