I couldn’t do it, either. I have 4 and can handle maybe 8 or so. She’s not a welfare mom. I’m sure the Duggars must have had intense “dirt tests” run on them since he is a Republican, former state rep. and ran for the Senate. This isn’t a family in poverty producing out of wedlock children.

The comments from Huffington’s blog didn’t afford them the right, but spokes in terms of as being a spayed animal, and she producing litters. It says a lot about the mentality of the people who criticize this family.

They certainly look like a nice bunch!

Hey, if she’s happy doing this, and they’re not on welfare, more power to her. i have two and second preganancy nearly killed me. Therefore, if there are people like her that love to have children, can take care of them, and teach them good morals, then I think we should praise her. Sure, I think she’s crazy, because I couldn’t do it. But not everyone is the same. They are from the same father, she home schools all of them, and they’ve worked hard to have the money to do it. Leave them alone (oh, and even if my pregnancies didn’t suck, I would only have 4 - tops)

My grandfather was one of 12 children! I am the last of 5 children! So I guess I am going to have to be thankful for big families… How odd to be so anti life that they would begrudge others to have a large family!
