After all, if Feingold or Murtha or most of them had their way, Zarqawi would still be alive and killing today. However, I think this headline is backward. For Democrats, it's the other way: "Retreat Means Winning." But I work in GOP politics, and I think sensible people can say "Winning Means Retreat" -- that is, if we're retreating after we've won. Roy Blunt's recent trip to Iraq: "Blunt: Working Iraq economy also key to withdrawal." Perfectly logical statement. And he's right. It's the same as Bush said, as they stand up, we stand down.
