That’s not fair. Defector stated that he voted against the cross and explained why, but then quite clearly stated that he supported those who want it to stay.
“For those who support the cross its like playing 21 with a fixed deck and on the one chance you win, the rules get changed. The cross deserves to be up there because the people of San Diego voted to keep it up there”

Whether he is right ot wrong about the reason for the cross being placed there is no reason to call him rude names. His comments supporting those who disagree with his opinion makes him a man of integrity, rather than the other word used.

I guess Defector must feel that San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, etc. were all named after Christian saints and, well, angels as a message for all Jews to stay out of those cities! Can’t forget Corpus Christi, Texas and tons of other cities.

What an ignorant asshole. I guess a large synogogue must be a message that Christians, Muslims and Hindus need skedaddle. Before the Lefty Taliban is done, all religious buildings will be covered with tarps.

I’m from San Diego, I’m also Jewish, I know why the cross was up there in the first place (to tell Jews, including my family, to stay out of La Jolla. And now Jews are near the majority there) and I voted against the cross. Hvaing said all that, this is getting absolutely ridiculous. For those who support the cross its like playing 21 with a fixed deck and on the one chance you win, the rules get changed. The cross deserves to be up there because the people of San Diego voted to keep it up there. This shows that the people’s will no longer matter, its only the elite’s.
