Just north of your great state we've got all kinds of donkey-wannabee jackass RINO's who never saw a dime of the taxpayers money they couldn't spend. The only reasons I'll vote this fall is to keep an elephant majority in Congress, just in case there's another SCOTUS nomination, and to keep the donkeys from trying to overtly overthrow the government by impeachment. On the other hand, if GW was impeached, they'd have Dick Cheney to deal with, an intriguing thought in itself. Well, now, who says it’s just the donkeys who spend it if it’s there? They have quite good hospitals for serious medical treatment and surgeries. I would urge Mexican citizens illegaly here to use those facilities. I am NOT willing to pay for treatment here. The law says the people showing up in an ER must be treated for emergencies. It does NOT say that the California taxpayers are required to pay for general health care for illegals. US citizens and legal residents who are poor already have Medi-Cal. The indigent have county hospitals which provide care to such people. Cheap insurance is available through Healthy Families who care to purchase it. Those who do not want to purchase health insurance can sit in the county hospital with the rest, and then pay the bill when it arrives. Health care on MY dime to illegals is yet another incentive for them to stay here. I don't want them to stay here, especially for expensive medical treatment. The Republicans should not budge.
