Bush Resorts to Dirty Campaigning
President Bush resorted to dirty campaigning in pushing for Alito’s confirmation vote. (The Democratic definition for dirty campaigning is using Democrats’ words against Democrats.) Here’s a glimpse of Bush’s push for Alito’s confirmation:
Bush, in his weekly radio address, quoted Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell as saying he was not pleased with the partisan way some of his fellow Democrats had handled Alito’s nomination. Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia has announced he would vote for Alito, Bush said. “And he said that many people in his state were calling the treatment of Judge Alito by some Democrats ‘an outrage and a disgrace.’”
Bush also quoted one of Alito’s former law clerks who later worked on the 2004 presidential campaign of Democratic Sen. John Kerry. “She says this about Judge Alito: ‘His approach to judging is not about personal ideology or ambition but about hard work and devotion to law and justice.’”
Jean Francois can’t like having the words of a worker for his presidential campaign thrown back at him but I think it’s delicious. In one way, though, it’s sad that Kerry feels he has to take such a ridiculous position so he won’t be ignored by the moonbat left should he take another run at the presidency.
Does anyone think that they’d filibuster Alito if the Kossacks weren’t loudly demanding it? These guys aren’t THAT stupid. The vote count is in and they’re gonna lose the cloture vote. Then why are they opting for a faux-filibuster? As a protest? That’s unlikely since anyone really wanting to make their voice heard could simply write a Washington Post or NY Times op-ed excoriating Alito.
In a related article, Hillary’s opted to join the filibuster. Here’s some information on that stunt:
Clinton said, “I oppose his nomination and support efforts to block his confirmation. I do not think Judge Alito would advance the principles Americans hold most dear.”
Hillary’s motivation is the same as Kerry’s. They’re both thinking about a run for the presidency and they can’t not cater to the whims of the moonbats. It’s nothing more complicated than that.
Here’s what the White House thinks of the filibuster: “If the Democratic left does a filibuster led by Kerry, that’s found money for us,” a top GOP official said.
American theoretically has a two party system but it’s impossible to think of the Democrats as a legitimate political party.

Where are the strategists who are going to lead the Democrats to victory this fall? This will look foolish and show how leftist and extreme liberal the Democrats have become. What next, hijabs for all the ladies as a show of alliance with the Mohamedans?
I recall after 9/11, the Democrats talked a lot about being on the right side of the terror wars, about listening to the public. Whatever happened to those ideas?

Remember when they said they were going to unveil their new plan in early January? Is it just me or does Osama Bin Laden releasing a tape that practically echos statements made by far left democrats count as a strategy? OBL is a leader that the left can support, much more than Hillary or Kennedy! Laden/Hussain in 2008!!

Clinton Joins In On Alito Filibuster Efforts
There isn’t enough votes to support a filibuster over the nomination of Samual Alito to the Supreme Court, but that isn’t stopping some of them from making a statement out of it. Earlier this week Senator John Kerry announced his desire t…

A few comments on this sham attempt by the Democrats to feign a legitimate filibuster.

You Really need to wake up!!! This is NOT a perfect world, sometimes violence is the ONLY WAY TO DEAL WITH VIOLENT TERRORIST! You liberals really need to grow up! If someone you loved was killed or raped or died in 911 maybe you would see what we are dealing with. It is time to take off the rose colored glasses. President Bush is the best president we have had since his father was in office. At least we know where he stands when it comes to morals and honor! He never burned his draft card, commited adultry in the white house, and sold secrets to china for campaign money! Its time to get over it and stop bashing the President. Kerry lost the election get over it and start acting like an American not a whining little spoiled brat that can’t have their way!

Hillary wouldn’t know “the principles Americans hold most dear” if they slapped her upside the head (she’s not alone there, either), and that’s why the donkeys will lose yet one more time this year.
