Are Democrats Calling For War With Iran?
The spinmeisters for the Democratic party are out with the talking points in what could be characterized as a preemptive strike against the President’s State Of The Union Address.
Look for the gist of these attacks to mimic Hillary Clinton’s criticism of the President’s diplomatic and multi-lateral efforts in dealing with Iran. Hillary called the President’s diplomacy ”outsourcing” the problem.
This is extremely funny since during the build up to the Iraq war, the President was roundly criticized by the Democrats for not going to the UN, though he revisited the UN at every turn. It is also funny because he was criticized for ”going it alone” because our allies were not on board (except England), though it now turns out those allies were protecting bribes they were receiving from Saddam Hussein at the highest levels of their governments and industry.
Now the President is trying to manage the nuclear problem in Iran with the very tactics the Democrats urged him to use, and they are saying this is wrong too!
Since the Democrats criticize but never offer an alternative, we must extrapolate their policy from the criticism. If we apply the logic of Iraq to Iran, the Democrats appear to be calling for war!
In Iraq, if Un-President Kerry is to be believed, we should still to this day be negotiating with Saddam at the UN with our European allies at the table, basically the opposite of what we eventually had to do.
So it stands to reason that if we are using diplomacy with Iran and involving the UN and our allies and this is wrong, the Democrats alternative is war.
Let the Un-President go to the media, and call for war. Let the Members of Congress, at least the Democrats in the minority party draft a Declaration of War and and appropriations bill to fight it, or let them SHUT THE HELL UP and let the President do his job!

They will call for it now, then when it happens they will rail against it…ala “I voted for the war before I voted against it ” gee John Kerry can use the same line and won’t have to think of a new one.
