Amy Klobuchar EXPOSED!!!
I spent most of this afternoon digging into Amy Klobuchar’s FEC reports, looking to see who’s supporting her. What I found was a bombshell. Here’s what I found:
Delaney, Anne E New York, NY 10011 Contributed $2,100 to the Klobuchar campaign on April 20, 2006
When I read that the FEC report said that she was a “self-employed artist”, red flags aplenty went up. The first question that came to mind was why would a New York City artist contribute $2,100 to a Senate campaign in Minnesota? That question was answered in a Google search.
What I found is that she’s a major contributor to a whole host of Democratic causes. Here’s what my search yielded:
Anne Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: DNC Amount: $21,750
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
Anne Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: DNC Amount: $8,450
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
E Anne Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: Dennis Kucinich Amount: $2,000
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
Ms. Anne E Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: John Kerry Amount: $1,750
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
Ms. Anne E Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: John Kerry Amount: $500
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
Ms. Anne E Delaney Artist/Self Contributed to: John Kerry Amount: $250
Address 467 W 21ST New York, NY 10011
Anne E Delaney Artist/Self employed Contributed to: Howard Dean Amount: $1,300
Address 467 W 21st St New York, NY 10011
It’s obvious that Ms. Delaney isn’t your typical starving artist. She’s best described as a peace activist. It turns out that Ms. Delaney is a signatory to the Not In My Name petition. NION is also involved in an event next Thursday called the Declaration of Peace. Here’s what the homepage of Declaration says:
Take Action to End the US War and Occupation in Iraq!
The Declaration of Peace is a nationwide campaign to establish by September 21, 2006 a concrete and rapid plan for peace in Iraq, including:
- a prompt timetable for withdrawal of troops and closure of bases
- a peace process for security, reconstruction, and reconciliation;
- and the shift of funding for war to meeting human needs.
If this plan for peace is not created and activated by Congress by September 21, the International Day of Peace, Declaration signers across the U.S. will engage in nonviolent action in Washington, D.C. and in communities throughout the nation.
If the goals sound familiar, they should. They’re very similar to what you’ll find on Amy Klobuchar’s Issues page on Iraq:
- 2006 should be the year that the Iraqi government decreases its dependency on the United States. It should be a year of transition in which we bring a significant number of our troops home.
- I oppose establishing permanent military bases in Iraq.
- As with any effective plan, there should be a realistic time-frame based on specific milestones and benchmarks, with honest and current information from the administration about the status of our efforts, the training of the Iraqi forces, and the restoration of basic services to Iraq.
Minnesotans have to start asking themselves some important questions:
- Do we want someone who is opposed to winning the war in Iraq?
- Do we want someone in the U.S. Senate who will represent New York anti-war liberals more than she’ll advocate midwestern priorities?
- Do we want someone in Washington whose positions on the issues sound like they were written by an anti-war special interest group?
That’s an easy question for me. I’ll take a hard-working accountant over a peace activist attorney anytime.

just another whining con.
the majority of the country agrees that Iraq is a blinding failure by bush let alone illegal and now the failure is trying to change law so he isn’t prosecuted for it.
as for your islamic terrorist attack count. if some moron decided to invade america I’d be fighting too.
and the first terrorist to enter Iraq was bush. then al qeada came in along with others.
grow up. this country has lost credibility and honor because of bush.

Bush may or may not be pursuing the war on Terrorism they way he should,
but Michele is just further proof that the left has declared a war on Bush. As Ariana Huffington said, so what if Saddam gassed Kurds. The message I’m getting from the left is “so what if Al Qeada killed 3000 Americans on 9/11, so what if Al Qeada killed American sailors on the Cole, so what if Al Qeada bombed the American embassies in Africa, so what if terrorists tried to take down the WTC in 1993, so what of Hezballah killed almost 250 US Marines in Lebanon, so what if Iran commited an act of war by taking the US Embassy in Tehran” It’s Bush that’s the real enemy. Death to Bush …….. and Walmart!
A two party political system would be nice, but the Dems are driving off the cliff. If only we could get a sane libertarian party to take their place.

Amy Klobuchar EXPOSED!!!
Now THAT’S a frightening though!

Excuse me, Michele, but if I understand the word “invade” properly, I believe we were invaded, then attacked on September 11, 2001. That’s if you don’t consider embassies and ships as sovereign territory, too.
And I don’t see you out there fighting. So either you’re lacking substantive understanding or you’re lying. Unless you don’t include those who killed themselves and nearly 3000 others as morons.
And the first terrorist in Iraq was not GWB. You have to have the IQ of something less than a gnat to believe that. Check the evidence. Unless you discount it because it doesn’t fit your preconceived notions.
And finally, the only honor and credibilty we’ve lost is with those in the world that wish to see us, the United States of America, as a third world country who has lost its military and economic superiority to some freedom-loving trash dump like Iran, France or China. That ain’t gonna happen as long as we can keep pimples (irritating and full of noxious puss but no healthy substance) like Kerry, Gore and Feingold out of the presidency.

Waste your breath not… I’m sure Michelle has gone back into her hole. Talking points are only good for one shot no matter how loud they are shouted.

Wow, a threat to protest. I havn’t seen much protests in the last few years. the only large protest I remember was ” A day Without Immigrants.”
great research too on her.

Umm… This is the best you can come up with for attacking Klobuchar? Seriously, it was just a $2,100 donation — surely you can come up with better arguments than that she received a couple thousand from a liberal New York artist.
It doesn’t seem like you really exposed much of anything. And really, for a blog centered on Califoria (which is the impression I get from your ‘About’ page) you really seem to be making some arrogant assumptions about Minnesota — almost to the point where you seem to think you know better than the people there (isn’t that sort of what you’re blaming this donor for).
