“The Arabic Assassin”: Rap-sodizing About Rape, Death, and Terrorism
Sticking with the rapper theme…
CNN reports: “When Bassam Khalaf raps, he’s the Arabic Assassin. His unreleased CD, “Terror Alert,” includes rhymes about flying a plane into a building and descriptions of himself as a “crazy, suicidal Arabic … equipped with bombs.”
Until last week, Khalaf also worked as a baggage screener at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. But once the Transportation Security Administration discovered his personal website promoting and selling his “music,” they fired him.
Civil rights? Wrong. (Hattip: Michelle Malkin)
Debbie Schlussel reports on the latest Arab-American turned Taliban promoter:
“ILL START MY OWN STATION ONE THAT PLAYS REAL S— AND THAT’S NOT RUN BY A DIRTY JEW I DO WHAT I DO AND I DO IT THE BEST SO N—- MOTHERF— YOU MY NAME IS BASSAM A ONE MAN BAND I CAME FROM SAND AFFILIATED WITH THE TALIBAN“
That’s just a teaser of the vile and violent “lyrics” by Khalaf, who not only praises terrorist activities, but waxes on enthusiastically about killing Christians, raping women and children, and necrophilia.
In one example cited by Schlussel (which isn’t worth reprinting here), Khalaf rap-sodizes about homocide, perversion and rape against: God, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, a priest, and a little girl in a playground.
Does anyone question the political fallout and activist outcry that would ensue if a white boy from Iowa would promote filth like this, but replacing all the Christian names with Muslim religious references? No way.
While Khalaf is already positioning himself for support by the ACLU, crying freedom of speech and alleging to be fired due to his ethnicity, it’s clear he knows it’s a game.
“Controversy sells,” Khalaf said. “It brings a lot of attention. Everybody wants to label all Arabics terrorists just because a couple of people messed up. Well, I’m going to play along with that character. I’m going to let you think I’m one.”
Khalaf is selling himself short. He’s raising far greater concerns about his “culture” than simply the label of terrorist. Given his lyrics, he’s portraying a worldview of sexual deviance, religious hatred, and death to all those that don’t agree with his opinion.
Maybe Khalaf knows his audience.

UPDATE:
FOXNews has been reporting on this news. Khalaf even appeared on the John Gibson show. When asked about his work, Khalaf simply stated: “It’s all about entertainment.” And he’s hoping all the attention and publicity will help him advance his rap career.
While there’s some concern that talking about this story will, indeed, help Khalaf’s efforts. It’s doubtful that either FOX viewers or our readers would buy his work.
But Khalaf may get a tour date somewhere in the Middle East. Or a few mosques in London.

Maybe Bassam Khalaf should stop portraying himself as the “Arabic Assassin.” But if the turban fits…
