Velvet Revolver: Rocker Scott Weiland Shooting Off His Mouth In Nazi Drag
You can’t make this stuff up.
The Daily Dish reports: “Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has been forced to change his Nazi stage costume in a bid to avoid arrest during the band’s German tour dates.”
Go figure.
Weiland says, “The Nazi S.S. hat that I wear in fact symbolizes the loss of democracy and the shift to totalitarianism.“One could make an argument that indeed the government of the U.S. is evolving into, or is already, a fascist police state, hiding under the guise of a republic.”
Is this just another “celebrity” trying to “Rock the Vote,” or is there a chance that he, actually, believes what he’s saying?
“Fascist police state?” Obviously, he shaped his opinion after being arrested, repeatedly, for numerous drug offenses.
Looks like Scott should start touring with Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Their music is different, but the words the same.
Sidebar: Perhaps the Nazi uniform is part of some kind of fetish thing. Scott might be fighting to get in touch with his sexuality. We turn to the French for answers.
