Simply Disturbing News From Planned Parenthood
I’d like to thank the ever busy Jeff Quinton for taking a second to point out The Conservative Voice’s coverage of this disturbing “Shared Story” from a satisfied Planned Parenthood customer:
It Keeps Us Safe
I was raped at 11, by my 17 year old boyfriend. I chose not to tell my parents because I didn’t think their involvement would help, that was the right choice for me. Planned Parethood helped me deal with the aftermath of the rape allowing me to deal and cope as best as I could in my own way. I was 14 when I decided to start having sex, the day I made that choice I made an appointment to get birth control pills. I’m 17 now, I’ve been with my current boyfriend for about two years. During that time i’ve been HIV and STD tested four times. Right now I’m sitting in the waiting room while my boyfriend gets the results for his HIV test. We love each other so we’re responsible and Planned Parenthood helps us to do that.

To me, something is wrong here. If an 11-year-old girl walks in and says she’s been raped and Planned Parenthood finds out she’s pregnant then why shouldn’t she be encouraged to let her parent’s know? Does anyone else see something wrong with this?

Sir,
Your blog would be far more interesting if just once you thought of something yourself. Simply reposting articles that have been written exclusively by others and could just as easily be read elsewhere adds nothing. Boring, boring, boring.

I see a lot wrong with it. Like, were the police called? Health care prividers everywhere that I know of are required to report sexual abuse of a minor. If the police are called, then does it not stand to reason the parents would be advised. If the patents were not so advised, then the police were not either. If this story is true, which I doubt, then Planned Parenthood committed a felony in not reporting the rape.
And that’s just one point.
The whole thing is disgusting.
