I totally disagree with this:
If you don’t deal with all of that on a legislative level from the start, then there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to come back later and fix this or that thing. If the wall is built but we still have catch-and-release ...

Rush was excellent, and he correctly blasted the amnesty backed by Tony and the president. By now, nearly everyone agrees on building a wall, but are using this "comprehensive" thing to get an advantage in their quest to dish out benefits (money) to illegals. The thinking is that being nice to Mexican citizens illegally in this country will eventually yield bucketfulls of free votes in a few years. Yeah, right.

This plan to allow illegals to collect benefits on money paid into bogus SSN numbers is assinine. These people should be jailed then deported, not given a bunch of cash. Geez.

As much as I have loved Snow in the past, he's two-stepping at 100 mph here.

1. The whole idea of letting the lawbreakers get a pass while people like my friend Agnes, who has already been waiting IN LINE for 11 years +, is anathema to fairness, no matter what Tubby "The Swimmer" says. And Tony is ignoring the reality of an incredibly slow, incompetent and bloated bureaucracy there, too.

2. Ignoring the fact that slow and bloated bureaucracy can't keep up with the legal applicants now, what about the ones in the future who will be doing things legally to gain access to our bounty? Will the turnaround time go from 11 years + to 22 or 30? What kind of incentive is that?

3. While GW has lately been saying all the right things about absorbing into our society, his "leadership" (or lack thereof) certainly gives no hint of a desire to keep revolutionary groups of hispanics from fomenting unrest and secession from the Union.

4. Laws have been clear for two decades now about the punishment of employers of illegals. I have yet to see a real push to enforce those laws, not in the last twenty years and certainly not in the last 6. In fact, it seems just the opposite from my perspective. Does that mean Mr. Bush has been actively or inactively aiding and abetting illegal activity? Seems like at least a "misdemeanor" as spoken of in the Constitution, at least to me. An impeachable offense, maybe?

Don't get me wrong. I shudder to think of whether this country would even still exist if either Gore or Kerry had won either of their elections, but that doesn't mean GW should get a pass just 'cause he was the lesser of two evils.

Finally, Mr. Fox is probably upset because there is a small possibility money sent back to his country from here will be severely reduced by just-passed legislation in the Senate. And what's he doing, coming up here and campaigning against our internal affairs? Like he'd let any US prez go to Mexico and campaign against rampant corruption? He is a corrupt, evil and incompetent interloper who should be persona non grata in this union.
