Once again, irony is captured on film.
(Los Angeles, May 1, 2006. Photo: Buzznet)(a) For those paying attention, the ongoing debate is about illegal immigration. Illegals, by their non-citizen status, have no legal documentation (e.g. no social security number); they are paid in cash, and they pay no taxes.
(b) Che Guevara was a violent, bloodthirsty, Communist dictator. He also did not pay taxes.
So what’s the message? Viva Mexico? Viva Che?
Try God Bless America. Or get out.

[...] Wow! 12 million ILLEGAL aliens in America — they ALL work, they ALL pay taxes (even when they ALL get paid in cash), and they ALL stay out of crime. Amazing. Some journalists, even in the heat of passion to make a point, would use a soft term like “most” or “the majority of” to sell the exaggeration better. But not this one. [...]

I think what they paid is sales tax!

Actually, I believe they can use their ITINs (SSNs for illegals).
Of course, what that also means is that the claims of “taxation without representation” and Gloria Romero’s comparison to the Boston Tea Party have a small grain of truth.
That doesn’t mean that we should give them amnesty. That’s just one more extremely important reason to enforce our laws in order to avoid such claims.

I came from Thailand in 1998…after I spent a long time with the U.S.Embassy in BKK I finally can be here LEGALLY with my I-94 attached in my Thai passport when I arrived SFO. I’ve been learning more English as my 3rd language, it’s not easy but I told myself if I want to be here…I need to be able to speak, read and write English. I’ve been learning so many things since then, even now I’m still learning to get to know more about this country, history, culture and people so, I can be a citizen in the future. I pay tax from my income, I’m so mad to see all the illegals aliens live and work here, how do I feel? I feel like someone punch me on my face that I can’t do anything back. I’m not supporting any illegal aliens, not just Mexicans but all included illegals from Thailand. I’m so frustrating to see some legal immigrants don’t bother to learn English, they keep speaking their own language and some of them already U.S.citizen but still don’t speak English, how can they be citizen?. The U.S.government not smart enough to be able to protect their own people from those illegals, no wonder why I see 11-12 million (or more) illegals are marching across the country and the U.S.government let those group of illegals on the street asking for their demand, why not arrest them if they don’t have any legal document(s) to be here. This is totally UNFAIR !!.
