Illegal Aliens Demand US Citizens’ Rights
With decades of “we want our rights†precedents from which to draw, illegal immigrants are now demanding that they be afforded the same rights as US citizens. Thousands of banner wielding and sign-carrying illegals have attended country-wide protests, organized in large part by left-wing anti-American-sovereignty organizations such as Open Borders and MEChA (which advocates “re-conquering†the US southwestâ€â€and more than likely conquering other areas of our countryâ€â€for its mythical nation of Aztlan), to demonstrate against any attempts by the United States to protect its borders.
As is usual fare for much illegal activity in the United States, charges of “racism†are readily and generously used in these protests. If anyone in the US dares to try to protect its borders, this intimidation attempt is always used. It’s “racist†to protect our borders. Recent lawsuits filed jointly by the ACLU and CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) have even told us it’s “racist†to spy on terrorists. The inevitable goals of the leftist agenda are now being pushed into our faces, homes, businesses, schools and now our streets. This is called “destroying America from withinâ€Â. Note: Although the leftist-indoctrination, now at the high school and even middle school levels, seems to be working on our childrenâ€â€apparently it isn’t working fast enough for the increasingly anarchistic mindset.
The US House of Representatives passed a bill in December to protect our borders. This bill is now before the Senate. There are increasing attempts by the Mexican government to intimidate US Senators into voting down the border protection billâ€â€the bill that is widely supported by “legal†Americans. The Mexican government receives billions of US dollars annually from the illegal aliens it has successfully placed on US soil. There is no way it will part with this “cash cowâ€Â, without a fight. The Mexican government also seems to say “pay no attention to our drug trade, which is causing havoc and violence along the US-Mexico borderâ€Ââ€â€this too is providing addition revenues to that country.
In other words, the Mexican government, Open Borders, MEChA, LULAC and other left-wing organizations are all demanding that the US pay no attention to its lawsâ€â€or to terrorists. Illegal immigrants and their handlers are telling us: “Our ‘rights’ trump the US, its Constitution, its citizens and its laws. Our wants and needs overshadow any of yours!†They are also telling us that we do not have the “right†to protect ourselves or to affect anything that makes illegals “uncomfortableâ€Â. Our rights end when illegal aliens and the left-wing anti-American contingents say they do. And they’re becoming more vocal and activist every day.
I agree that US businesses unlawfully employing illegal aliens should be prosecuted. But, the best way to ensure this won’t occur, in the first place, is to stop the flow of millions entering our country illegally each and every year. Please don’t forget, many of these have already been identified as terrorists. Either we stop the wave of illegal immigrants into the country, and actuallyâ€â€for onceâ€â€have the guts to enforce our own laws or we will become a chaotic and anarchistic nation. And very soon, we will be a sovereign nation no more.

Any guest worker plan can’t work that requires the immigrant return to his home country after a several-year period. During those years in the USA, he is building roots, making friends and family, and making business relationships. He won’t want to leave. He won’t be forced to.
This is the same situation we have now. It’s too politically obnoxious to round up the people who must leave the country. When it’s time to make them leave, there will be outrage for deporting these people who are doing Jobs America Won’t Do. There will be outrage over deporting the people who “Built the USA”, etc.
The Senate needs to focus on massively reducing future illegal immigration.

I firmly believe in LEGAL immigration. Whatever laws exist are not being executed. Gone are the days of the 1950-1960’s. To deny the eventual outcome of unpatrolled borders is suicidal. What a price to be popular or “nice”! Let the Mexicans accept their own stance on illegals in Mexico as the right of the US towards them. Fair is fair.
It is too much to bear, paying taxes for benefits that my government denies me but provides illegals, having my children unable to gain full-time employment status because illegals glut the employer’s staff (restaurants, construction, landscape, etc).
It is unbelievable that so MANY illegals have the gall to show up and prove what a numerical nightmare they present to us.
American and Mexican businesses should find a way to build factories and developments south of the border so that Mexicans can stay employed in Mexico. They certainly have the oil and the work force.
Take US wage earners’ benefits out of the illegals’ grasp. Employers must provide proof of employment ID Cards to employees to present for medical treatment. Contact the employer to verify the employment status. Make every employer ultimately responsible to pay for illegals’ medical bills should the illegal employee not pay–the price of legitimizing illegal business.

We’ve spent 20 years building factories in Mexico and the problem has gotten much worse. The root of the problem is MEXICO; its corrupt government, the narco-cartels, the caste system, the poverty, neglect, lack of education, etc. We cannot solve those problems for Mexico, and we can no longer be a safety valve for their failed society. Another point - legal immigrants are fine. We let you in on OUR terms, not yours. And while we’re reforming this process, let’s get rid of the “all Spanish, all the time” culture we have now. Where I live, in the East Bay, hundreds of thousands of people don’t need to learn English to get by. Hospitals, utilities, government, and everything else serves them in Spanish. I have no problem with private businesses marketing in any language they want. But government, NO. If you choose to isoltate yourself linguistically in a ghetto, that’s your business. But don’t come whining to me when you can’t read the signs in City Hall. No es mi problema.

So, instead of deporting each and every one of their sorry, illegal, criminal butts, why not make it untenable for them to stay? Enforce the laws that make the hiring of illegals a criminal act, and increase the penalties to the point even Halliburton (Oh, my gosh! Did I just say the Great Evil Capitalist Company’s name?) would sit up and pay attention.
No deportation. No “stigmatizing”. Just making their (comparatively) upscale lives so miserable they’ll go back home and either come back legally, or start a revolution where they came from that’ll demand change from the crappy, communist, corrupt governments.
And while we’re on the subject, why don’t we deal with illegals dealing drugs in the same sensitive way countries such as China and Indonesia do: give them a fair trial, then stick them in some hole forever, or kill them? If the time ain’t right, the crime’s gonna take a bigger bite.
