They'll give you enough of a solution to mollify you a bit and give them some talking points against the Democrats. However, they're still going to pay attention to their financial backers (who need cheap immigrant labor) and the fact that Spanish-speaking hispanics are increasingly voting for Republicans (don't want to alienate a demographic that votes for you). In this, they aren't any better than any other political group: the main goal isn't to make great policy decisions, the main goal is to keep power. When are you guys going to realize that the Republicans are NOT going to give you what you want. They’ll give you enough of a solution to mollify you a bit and give them some talking points against the Democrats. As a NH resident, I have supported him in the past, but I've been closely monitoring his voting record over the last year and it has been dismal. He is beginning to sound more and more like Mr. Flip-Flop himself - Senator John "Live-Shot" Kerry from the neighboring state of Taxachusetts.
