Their (adopted) savior, Martin Luther King (this just ticks off a whole lotta people who were in the trenches of the civil rights struggle), once told a crowd that he was looking forward to the day people would be judged by the content of their hearts, not the color of their skin.
Seems to me the sign implies differently, although it doesn’t come right out and say it.
