Something fishy is going on here. Bush's own people have framed his message preemptively as being a pack of lies. I still have hope - maybe tonight is really an announcement of a huge wall. It's not healthy for me to get so angry, I'm not sure I can watch this thing. His bill provides for doubling the border patrol and for greatly increasing security on the border. I think that he is right, though, that the national guard is doing an amazing job in Iraq right now, but that they should not be called upon to do this as well while they are stretched a bit thin.
